Good breakfast. Had Chorizo sausage gravy and biscuits. Quite good. No wait at 10am on Saturday. Spartans had away game. Guessing it's tough to get in when Spartans are home. Saw many things on menu i would like to come back and try. Convenient parking behind. Did not have to pay in the morning.
One of the better beer and wine selections in downtown East Lansing. It's a bit more upscale so it's not quite as rowdy as other nearby establishments. Whenever I've ordered food it's tasted pretty good and the prices are fair. Their brunch menu is one of the best and my whole family loves the Eggs Benedict.
2 stars because the food was decent. But service was horrible. Sat at the bar at lunch time, one other customer at the bar. But bartender decided to carry personal conversations with that one other customer and coworker, I had to flag her down to order. Never asked about refills, how the food was, then I had to flag her down for my bill. It's a shame, I use to come here years ago and it was great food and service. Now I work right next to it and probably won't be back.
The five stars its for brunch. I've never had anything here for brunch that isn't excellent. The bar and beer selection is also outstanding. Dinners here are generally good but it's more inconsistent in my experience.
Best bar on this side of town.
The atmosphere was great; not too loud.
The food here is so great! I did not expect a menu with things like smoked whitefish pate.
On top of the that, the service is amazing.
We got a table the moment we came in, and the server was very attentive all night.
I took my wife here and I will definitely be coming back.
Great fare. Great drinks. Great service. Ask for Junith as your server. She is a consummate professional.
I didn't try the food but those I was with think it's the best bar good in the area. The drink potions are varied in all cater ogres in a strong way, with at least one option for each spirit you normally wouldn't find in a bar setting. Staff was relaxed friendly and knowledgeable without being over bearing. Will definitely come back and try the food next time.
My husband and I took our kids here to eat dinner before Silverbells, this was our first time there and they did not disappoint. I had the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly, my husbands steak was juicy and delicious! It was very filling but we saved room for dessert and each one was great. The cheesecake was the
The lunch combo is over priced and the proportions are very small. It cost $10 for a cup of soup and half a sandwich. In addition, we had to ask for the lunch menu. Service wasn't great. My lunch sandwich didn't come with mayo and I asked for a sprite considering it was included with the lunch combo. When I received the bill the waiter Chad billed me for a side of mayo for 75 cents (when it literally says on the menu comes with side of mayo) and also charged me for my sprite which was also included. Upon asking for the charges to be removed (and I was very polite) he laughed rudely and said "oh alright". Awful experience. First time here and will not be returning. I would also like to add that I'm a waitress and know what reasonable service is and from being in the business I am a pleasant customer to have.
Wonderful, creative food. Great service. Pricey, but worth it for special occasions. Best restaurant we've been to in a long time. Our server was the best.
