Hi!
I was a patient at this hospital on 2 separate occasion's 30 days apart for the same outpatient procedure. My experience with the nursing staff was very pleasant, so much so I took it upon myself to thank the nursing staff with a thank you card and a dozen roses for both floors I was Admitted to. I am unaware of they received my thank you

A review here is claiming someone was discharged because they had no stress tests at this hospital. Wrong!! They most certainly do. I had chest pains and they took care of me. No way would this hospital discharge a potential stroke or heart attack. This hospital is excellent, always treated me well.

First time mother/pregnancy and this has been the best experience. Thanks to all the labor and delivery staff who didn’t take my walk ins lightly. I got seen and checked right away! They gave me everything I wanted and didn’t force anything on me. Thank you to all the nurses who helped us with whatever we needed.

Three times and I never had to wait long to be seen in the ER. I was admitted once after a seizure/fall/back injury and after spending one night waiting on tests, had to leave AMA due to a family emergency; I promised to return that evening. I returned, went through the entire rigmarole to get re-admitted, then get told that the doctor on call this night will absolutely NOT give me any medication for my pain, even though it was no problem the night before. Walked out again, and don't think I'll be back. Shame, but some physicians like to play games with people.

I'm sitting here Right Now in Emergency. I brought my daughter in as a first time patient to be seen and this is the slowest, most unprofessional Emergency Dept I have EVER been to and I have lupus, RA & Fibromyalgia! They took her vitals, had us wait another hr, called her back just to ask what was wrong and tell me that my daughter would be seen in "Fast Track (after waiting over an hr for vitals, spare me) She told me that only one person was ahead of me. After waiting another hour, my daughter had Still NOT been seen! I will be going to the DMV from now on

My aunt was admitted to Beaumont in Wayne, Michigan after we exited an airplane from GA. She became unresponsive while we were waiting on our ride to arrive. While there for 5 days she bragged about how they treated her like a queen. She really had grown attached to the staff. I also thought the staff members were very professional and accommodating not only to my aunt but to me as well. I did not give 5 stars because of the one and only complaint my aunt had which was against one staff member who appeared to be having a bad day. My aunt said she pushed her and was being overly aggressive with her. My aunt has now moved on but she still talks about how she was treated like a queen.
This is an edit to this review. My Aunt passed away on Aug.29, 2017. Providence Hospital discovered she had tumors on her liver (liver cancer). Why it was not discovered a month earlier when she spent 5 days at Beaumont is a mystery to me. Her stomach was really big, in other words, the tumors were big enough to be noticed. I just don't understand how anyone can spend 5 days in a hospital with huge tumors on his or her liver and leave the hospital undiagnosed. Good medical care takes precedence over good hospitality; therefore, the 4 stars I originally gave is reduced to 1 star.

The staff on the maternity ward was excellent From the top on down. Dr. Khrazait, Dr. Jennings, Dr. K, Dr. Ali, Dr. Bui The ENTIRE nursing staff Even the cleaning crews & food service staff was great.
I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else if you plan on having a baby.
Thank you ALL for taking such great care of my wife & daughter Also, for being so kind to me. You ladies & gentlemen are AWESOME!

I waited four hours in the waiting room and then once I got to my bed nurse Diane was the best. Then came nusrse Ricardo his disposition was off putting and snactched the IV out of my arm. I'm calling my insurance to see if they can stop payment. Oh to add insult to injury I had a kidney infection. Whit all the remodeling they still are less than par.

I took my 8 month old daughter to Annapolis Friday night for a level 2 trauma to her face and head. The waiting room was packed and as soon as we checked in we were taken back to triage. The nurse, doctor and emt were all very kind and worked quickly to diagnose her and obtain test results. Thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier.

My severely arthritic, chair bound 82 year grandmother fell yesterday morning. This is a woman who is bend at a 90* degree angle because of scoliosis, and cannot walk but a few steps because of the constant chronic pain she has because of severe arthritis, and relies on a walker for just those few steps she can take. They found odontoid fracture in her neck. She has a bad sprain in her right arm, and her left is all bruised up, she's very weak. They put a brace on her neck. They didn't wrap her arm, nor did they attend to the gash she had on her left hand. The paramedics who brought her home did that. They released her to come home, she's been in constant pain, she can't support herself on the walker without help, she can't get out of her lift chair without 2 of us to get her on her feet. I would have thought with the age she is, the pain she's in, they would have kept her for observation, then maybe rehab. All I know is that I wouldn't take a dog for treatment at this place.

I'm truly at a total loss on all of the negative reviews. I was hospitalized here in 2009 and again in April 2017. Both of these hospital admissions were great. Good nursing, good nurse assistants and the Family Practice Staff is nothing but superior. I received excellent medical care from everyone, including the various specialty physicians who were asked to consult on my case.
The only bad I saw during both of these stays were patients who treated the nursing staff like they were nothing but mere servants and if the nursing staff didn't jump when they said to jump, then the patients were terribly rude to them. These caregivers do their very best to give good quality care, even when a patient treats them like they are nothing more than slaves to tend to their needs and only their needs.
Some patients need to learn to be a little less demanding and a little more appreciative of these caregivers who work so hard to make a hospital stay a little more comfortable. As for me, I think Beaumont Wayne is the best!

My daughter was in Michigan competing at a skating competition with her school. She became very sick and went to the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital for severe abdominal pain and dehydration. The doctor who treated her and the nurses were so warm and kind to her. I don't know how to thank them for the excellent care they took of my daughter. We live out of state and I couldn't be there for my daughter however everyone was so helpful and caring with her (her feelings too!). I found the hospital to be very thorough, professional and compassionate. They are an amazing staff.

This hospital will never be my first choice to go to in an emergency. I only went here because it was the closest hospital and I was in severe abdominal pain. First off, I seen a roach crawling in the waiting room by the vending machines. I admit they took me back fairly quick. I ended up being at the hospital for 7-hrs. In all that time, I only spoke to the doctor for 5-minutes when I got there and a different doctor for a few minutes just before I was discharged. They gave me medicine for my pain. When I told them an hour later that I still had severe pain, they treated me like I was a drug addict; explaining how I was given the strongest pain medication they have. The nurse asked me what type of pain medicine did I want or need. Who asks a patient this type of question? I explained that I'm not a pharmacist and had never been in this type of pain before. I had no clue. Another hour later, they gave me more medicine. I also had to have an ultrasound which required me to have a full bladder. They said I just had to wait until I had to go; no fluids were given other than the IV. The nurse would not increase the fluid output. All in all, they found nothing. The doctor gave no possible explanation for my pain and just said it could be a million different reasons. I was just sent home with a script for pain medicine. I will never come here again.

All of the nurses, as well as the chaplain are wonderful, compassionate, and caring ladies. We lost my brother a few months back, and they helped make my family and I as comfortable as we possibly could be. With it being such a hard day, they offered us as much time, and support as we needed. One of the nurses was even sweet enough to rush up to me in the hallway with a huge hug, after I heard the news. It's always the little things that help you through tough times, and they all went out of their way to help with the little things.
