We always have a great time at the Bear River Lodge. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and the staff is great. We have rented the atvs and snowmobiles and have a lot if fun riding through the area. Highly recommend it!

Snowmobilers and adventurers beware!!! I rented 5 machines from the Bear River Lodge for over $1600. I had a really fun day with my brother, son and some friends. We checked the machines in at the end of the day and we were told we were good to go following a thorough inspection. Later my credit card was charged for $1000. When I talked to the owner to dispute the charges he claimed the brakes were ruined and a handle bar had been bent. I'm trying to dispute the charges but I've been unsuccessful. They weren't at all busy on a Saturday in the middle of winter. I think we were the only renters. My guess is he is preying on people for false and inflated damages to try to stay afloat.

Great service and accommodations. It is a bit more expensive than it should be so I wouldn’t do it twice but once was very nice. We originally booked a one bedroom place but when we got there it was basically a basement unit. They buildings are three story with the multi-bedroom units being the main and upper floors and the one bedroom units are the basement. They do have an ok patio and view but still feels like a basement and for $300+ a night it didn’t cut it. So we paid the additional $100 per night to get a two bedroom so we could have a nice stay.
The two bedroom was a much better experience but again $400+ per night is too expensive. The view was amazing and the unit was nice.response / report this review -

I booked 2 cabins for a corporate retreat for my team and the experience was absolutely amazing! Roger was super accommodating with the reservation and made sure to work with our offsite needs. Then when our group got there, Kendra was beyond great with making sure we were taken care of. The side by sides were the highlight of the trip and a must do while you are there in the summer or fall season I highly recommend this place for your corporate retreats and we will definitely be back next year!

We had such a great experience snowmobiling with Bear River Lodge. We have rented snowmobiles about half a dozen times with this outfitter, With groups from 4 - 12 people on both single and double sleds. They keep their equipment up-to-date and in good working order. Staff great - friendly and accommodating. Nice little store where you can buy food, snacks, gloves, etc. They provide helmets. Bring sunglasses to wear underneath. You can also rent snowsuits and boots to keep you extra warm. A collapsible avalanche shovel is helpful to bring in case anyone gets stuck. There are miles of trails around here and the scenery is stunning. Would happily recommend this business to others.

We loved it, we stayed the weekend in one of the cabins. We had 16 people there and we easily fit and were comfortable in the 5 bedroom cabin. It's close enough to Evanston if you needed anything and the service at the lodge and convince store was awesome.

A great place to have a family gathering. High-quality cabins, and comfortable to stay in. Super clean! Nice having plenty of trails to ride various ATV's. Rental equipment available. As long as you don't abuse equipment, it's affordable. If you do abuse it, they will nickel and dime you to death!
When you pay for a full day rental, you are only getting a max of 7 hours, and it takes almost an hour of that time to get the equipment checked out (safety video, paperwork, equipment pre-inspection). So if you can take care of that the night before, you will save a lot of unnecessary headache.
Small private pond stocked with hungry rainbow trout. Affordable to fish there.

Good place to get an ice cream cone. Prices are high because it's the only shop for miles. Cabins are nice, as is the fish pond.

The location is beautiful. We came in our Corvette and the parking lot is gravel. I had told the person that took my reservation that we where coming in a Corvette. I wish they had told me the parking was not paved. They told me they had a restaurant so I planned on eating on site when I got here. Turns out the restaurant closes at 6 pm. Who closes a restaurant at 6 pm? I understand closing between 2 and 4 pm but right at the start of dinner time? We had to drive 30 minutes into Evanston to get dinner.
The view is beautiful the cabins are clean and private. The price seams a bit high but it was an adventure and different than the "norm"
I will probably come back but I now have a better idea of what to expect.response / report this review -
