The rooms are okay. We had to ask them to change our room because the bathroom sink was clogged. The water wouldn't go. This hotel is not bad if you just want to sleep for a night. They also offer free breakfast. They should just do maintenance more often in the bathrooms.

Room was acceptable, however housekeeping service was not provided during 2 night stay. When we asked we were told the staff was short and we needed to contact front desk. Bed linen was not acceptable for weather and when we asked for an additional blankets we were told they only had enough for each room.

We stopped Christmas night before heading to DC. I was a little nervous after reading the other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. You could tell it had been recently remodeled. Beds comfortable and clean. Staff was nice and breakfast was better than most free breakfasts I've had. This is an inexpensive hotel perfect for a good nights rest on the road. Would stay again.

Nice property- rooms comfortable. Reservation system is messed up. Didn't get what we reserved. Night clerk had to do a 'work-around' to get us rooms that were suitable. Book carefully.

The Young lady working the desk at night is great, she's kind, and made my grandparents feel welcomed and she took care of them promptly so they were able to check in and rest after a long trip.

Rates were reasonably priced. Free breakfast was pretty good compared to most budget motels. Floor and sheets were stained and as we were leaving we noticed a roach behind the headboard.

Evacuated Florida due to Hurricane Irma. Tried to get back home, got caught in tropical storm force winds in Florence. 2 dogs with us. Called Baymont, they advised they were out of pet friendly rooms, but due to the circumstances, they were happy to accommodate. I have never been so grateful in my life for the kindness and understanding shown.
Price was fair, rooms are nice and comfortable. Kept power on even in the storm. Rodney at the front desk was very kind and very helpful.
Thank you so much Rodney and Baymont Inn and Suites in Florence. I was terrified, and you took us in. We appreciate it so much, from the bottom of my heart.response / report this review -

I am active military in town to work at the races. I booked this room through our Govt travel agency and it just isn't up to par. Room was not bad, a little grungy and dated but not horrible. My issue came when I got in the shower. There were long hairs all over the wall and shower curtain. I'm sorry but I'm a big believer in taking pride in your work NO matter what the job is. I train new military members all the time and some of them need to followed up behind to make sure the job is done right the first time, maybe a good idea for management to do at this facility.

The FILTHIEST hotel I've seen, as well as terrible service.
Theres mold everywhere, there's flies inside of the room. The bed sheets and pillows are stained yellow. The bathtub was covered in mold. Carpets were disgusting. We requested a cleaner room right away and we're sent to an equality filthy room. If we didn't get a refund we were going to sleep on the car, but the man in the front desk said there should be no problem, just call site in which we booked in, they'll call him, he'll authorize it and we will be fine. After being on hold for 20 minutes, we were told he didn't authorize the refund because we pulled the sheets. The Peking lot was filled with ghetto people having a party and being really loud (accompanied with their young children).

The people were polite and courteous. New how to resolve issues, no problem. The room had clean linens, but left over items from the previous guests didn't make it seem really clean. Comfy bed, quiet room, served its purpose.

Convenient to highway, but that's the only positive. Room was crowded, had layers of dust in the carpet and bathroom covered in mold/mildew. AC was so loud it woke us every time it kicked on. Linens were stained and pillows were tiny. "Interesting people" walking in parking lot so we did not want to go outside. Went to check out & no staff at desk - they were all taking a break out front. Never again; waste of money.

The rooms needs an upgrade. The carpet is old and ugly, the furniture needs to be smaller/slimmer for more room to move around. The bathroom really needs to be redone period. The beds were the best.

Remodeled but still shows its age in the bathroom. Nice for the price. All rooms have micro and fridge which is good. Make reservations online from Baymont website for best price.

Great stay! My room is comfortable, great bed, great coffee & cookies, & good value. I'm glad to have chosen Baymont I've the negotiated room block (at another location) for my business conference.
