Stopped here on our way back from Florida to New York and the guy at the front desk was very helpful and had a smile on his face. The room was okay, very outdated compared to today's rooms. Plenty of parking and felt like a safe area.

Hotel is amazing!! Really nice and clean. The service was spectacular. Staff was super friendly. I was given great advice on places to eat but then kept hearing the raves about the food their onsite restaurant. Tried the Salmon with grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. Sooo yummy. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient! The staff was incredibly friendly and competent. The pool was perfect. The restaurant area was well tendedone of the best I have ever seen. The ladies in housekeeping went above and beyond!!

Now, I am aware that I'm in Florence, SC but when the employees figure out that they are at a paid job, that will be a step in the right direction. Everyone acts like they are clueless like this is volunteer work. No one knows anything and can answer any questions. Or, even will try to make an attempt to figure it out like they don't care. Very frustrating!!!!!! The hotel's decor is pretty but that's it. I don't wanna feel like the employees were all born in corn fields on pecan trucks in a pretty hotel. Those things don't match. I wish they would have spent that money on better training. However, the rooms are decent.

At the prices they charge, breakfast really should be included. The room was standard. The bathroom appeared clean until you looked at the floor which obviously hadn't been mopped in a while. We ordered room service and had to eat on the bed. There is no table there is a desk but only one chair. The room has a chair and ottoman but again only one so not good for two people. The indoor pool was what brought us to this hotel instead of others nearby but it was disappointing. The pool area was stark white tile and cement (really needs some plants and some color) so we were uncomfortable in such a clinical environment. We will NOT be back.

Very cool little place. Found it by reading other reviews while traveling though the area. Had the collard green egg rolls, PJ Monster Burger, and Chicken and waffles. Happy to recommend all of these items to you! Hot and fresh food, friendly staff, and cool environment. Only slight negative was it took a pretty long time to get food (about 40 minutes after order) but it was delicious after it got to us. Quite possibly an unusual occurrence, and the food was good enough to let it slide! Try this place.

I would not say this is the most modern designer hotel - especially if you want a pool (not us, did we didn't care), but the lobby, bar and cafe, including an outdoor courtyard, have been recently remodeled and the room (we had a large one bedroom) was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We spent two nights during a road trip and the king bed and pillows are what got us through the rest of the trip! A great value and we would stay here again - also, very conveniently located to everything!

Where do I begin. EVERYONE is very polite and always greets you with a smile. Even while I was out back smoking, a maintenance technician even greeted me as if he was behind the front desk. BEYOND PROFESSIONAL interaction with EVERY employee I encountered. ROOMS ARE IMMACULATE! VERY CLEAN!! Bed and pillows are like clouds. And the reservation process and having to upgrade to 2 larger rooms was a breeze. Smooth and easy check-in! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT HILTON GARDEN INN & SUITES in Florence, SC!! You guys have set the bar incredibly high. Made my Irma Evacuation so much less stressful as soon as I was greeted at the counter. Thank you guys!!! YOU ROCK!!!

Warm, friendly, big rooms, comfortable are the first words that come to mind. Pool is great, restaurant staff was so generous and kind. This has been my experience at all the Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at. But South Carolina folks are so warm and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Right off 95. Huge rooms. Very clean room and friendly service. Breakfast not included unless your a rewards member with diamond status or above, but worth it for only $10. Better than most hotel breakfast offerings.

Great food in the breakfast buffet! The pool was nice too and our rooms were nice to! Got to love the free WiFi! Staff was very nice and I felt like my stay was their #1 priority! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to someone else.

Was easy to find, plenty of parking, within walking distance of restaurants, shopping centers. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is old and Hilton hasn't put any money into it since it opened. The carpets in the main dining area are filthy. The pillows are so flat they should just trash them. The sheets and bedspreads are thin and way past comfortable. It's sad. Most HGI are very nice and comfortable but the company obviously doesn't care because it's Florence, SC. On the better note, we found the staff and service favorable. They are easy, accommodating, and really nice people.

Stayed overnight while traveling to Florida. The staff was courteous and very nice. Check in was late into the evening and went very smoothly. The breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent as well was the service.
