Very convenient location off of I-90. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Had experience of good breakfast service, clean rooms, and well equiped Gym. Would recommend to people who are Looking for a good night stay.
It's tucked away, but the signage makes it easy to find. Clean, quiet rooms. Excellent hot breakfast. Just off I-90.
Pros: very inexpensive. Spacious clean rooms, friendly staff. Easy find off Indiana Tollway, nearby other places.
Cons: very little continental breakfast, no meat. Possibly needs remodeling or major carpet cleaning, bc main hallway (which is EXTREMELY long!) smells like feet. Only one PC at business center, and I needed it
Good place to stop in if you have to stop.
Customer service was amazing. They were funny and friendly. Rooms are well kept and nice! Breakfast was good. Everything is nice for the price you pay and is totally worth it! I would definitely recommend this place.
Demanded a $100 non smoking deposit on the room. This was more than the room fee. We were told it would be removed within 24 hours after check out. However, the charge was removed and then two days later was added back. We called the manager who assured us that they would call the bank and get it taken care of and call us with the result. The manager lied. We told the manager that we weren't coming to the hotel on our way back from Chicago and going 100 miles out of our way to get it resolved. The manager never called us and we were forced to drive back to the hotel and where the desk clerk told us that the manager had already left and would not return for two days. We will never stay at this hotel again! The charge remains on the credit card as were leaving the hotel now and there's nothing they say they can do! I would strongly recommend against anybody staying here. Thank you manager Stephanie for doing nothing that you said you would do!
For a 2 star budget hotel, this Baymont Inn was pretty good. It was clean (as clean as any hotel can be), in a great location for accessing restaurants, stores and the Expressway. The staff was professional and courteous. They offered the standard hotel breakfast and cookies in the afternoon. Drawbacks include the noisy refrigerator in my room and the tread machine needing repair.
The rooms were pretty large and clean but smelled a little stuffy. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary.
They were super friendly, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We come to town often for business and will be back. The only downside is the tub was a little old and had rough patches.
Very noisy the night I was there. Rooms don't have soft door closers, so if people don't stop the door it will slam every time someone comes or goes from a room. Vending machines had limited options and were apparently only available on main floor near lobby. And for crying out loud, if you're going to have plastic silverware at the breakfast bar, spend a few more pennies and get some that doesn't fold in half when you try to use it. Couldn't even cut a waffle without the stuff bending in half. Hotel gets 3 stars because of the price and location. Got a deal on a price finder app, and location is very convenient.
$57 on a Thursday night. Clean room. The bed was comfortable, and had a selection of pillows on the bed. The TV was easy to use and they kept the original remote for the TV which allowed me to easily use my Roku. Power strip near the nightstand so I could plug in my phone. Heat/AC was easily adjusted, but the unit and the adjacent rooms unit were a bit noisy. Walking distance to several restaurants. Bathroom is a bit outdated and could use new fixtures. The temp was easy to adjust for the shower. Basic continental breakfast, cereals, breads, baked goods, juices, coffee and waffle machine. Best $57 hotel I have stayed in so far.
For a value-oriented hotel, this was a good stay. Check-in was friendly and quick, parking was close to the rooms, and the condition of my room was generally good. Elkhart advertises itself as having 1500 hotel rooms off the exit. It is convenient if you are looking for a place to stay with convenient access to the Indiana Toll Road. I found this room through Priceline, though I probably could have gotten a similar rate booking directly.
The bed was quite comfortable and the room had plenty of power strips and outlets. Additionally, the heating and cooling unit worked well. The only downside was the shower. I don't know if it was unique to Room 160, but the water pressure was terrible and the wall above and to the right side of the shower head looked like it needed a really good scrubbing. Overall, a pretty good room for the low price I paid and I would stay there again if I needed to stay in that area.
