Great room, friendly people working, nice free breakfast, and really great rate. Was just stopping in between a 30 hour cross country drive and I was very satisfied.
Rooms are a little small but very clean and great price for being so close to Notre Dame Campus. Breakfast was nice & fresh! Housekeepers came a little early to clean my room. Put Do Not Disturb sign up my second night so I got to sleep in.
There were issues with my reservations, which was not the hotel's fault, I was very upset so I probably wasn't the most pleasant person. The lady at the front desk, Shannon, she went above and beyond to fix everything. She did an amazing job helping and making my visit great. The housekeeping was good, and they lady that does breakfast kept everything stocked and clean. Thank you ladies for an amazing stay!
Stay was great! its only a 3 minute drive to ND and has many places to eat within walking distance. Thank You so much Miss Shannon for fixing my boyfriends mistake since he booked the wrong day, your an amazing worker! Breakfast was great and a big variety to chose from. i believe the lady that ran the kitchens name is Kay. She was so sweet!
The reception is really nice and helpful. The room is smaller than my expectation but the breakfast is nice .
Staff was great! Really enjoyed stay at this Hotel. Very close to ND! and clean surrounding area. Rooms were nice! Great stay and very cheap on room rates!
Very nice peaceful place to stay. Breakfast was better than most other places I've stayed. Plus staff is very helpful.
Room was clean very nice guy at 2a.m when I checked in.
How ever breakfast was not very good.
On top of that there was nobody around to put any sugar out for coffee at 7a.m
Very clean room, spacious - had the 1 queen bed with Jacuzzi tub. Micro fridge, microwave, mini coffee maker. Love the little window nook seat. The breakfast is straight forward, eggs, biscuit & gravy, sausage, waffles, bagels/breads, oatmeal, and assortment of pastries. A few restaurants within walking distance.
They offered military discount, made the stay that much better. They have a complementary breakfast area where they served the basic hot foods and regular foods; biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, toast, waffles, yogurt, cereal. The rooms were tiny, but hence micro in microhotel. The staff was polite. I really wish they had microwaves in the room tho.
For traveling alone, the room had more than enough space to sleep and work. Lots of plugs in useful spaces, but no fridge or microwave in room. Everything was clean and fresh. Breakfast better than most, but nothing fancy.
I've been to this Inn a few times and am never disappointed with my choice. I love their jacuzzi tubs in the room. It's a must after long week and needing to relax with your loved one away from the kids or from being on the road.
Very nice lobby and staff. We got in at about 2am so we were happy they kept our room. Room was nice and clean. A little drafty but the heater worked well. Overall it was a decent hotel. Definitely worth the price but keep in mind that you're still paying for a budget hotel which isn't too bad.
My wife and I booked a room at the Microtel last minute for an early Valentines day getaway. It was our first time staying and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We got a great online deal for a jacuzzi room.the cheapest I ever paid for one. The room was a little small but adequate. Had a mini fridge, microwave, and all the other amenities you'd expect. The room looked a little dated but we liked the retro look. We will definitely be back.
