Pretty good. Nice outdoor seating. Good happy hour selection. Drink prices are pretty high. $5 happy hour Stella Artois? That's about $2 higher than it should be.

Drinks too forever to get served to us after ordering. My pizza wasn't that great. I got the arugula and prosciutto and it came literally a pound of arugula on top of my pizza. It was a little much and the balsamic was forgotten that was supposed to be drizzled on top. My bf said his lobster ravioli was ok and that he could barely taste the lobster. Calamari was very good though

My boyfriend made dinner reservations for Valentines Day, which also happens to be my birthday so we usually rather celebrate the latter more. Somebody from the restaurant calls a few days before and asks for his card numbers to keep the reservation because it's a $40 cancellation fee per person.OK. The phone number checks out so it's not a scam. I guess I could understand that, but what they neglected to tell us during this phone call, when they basically threatened $80 for not showing up, and what we subsequently learned upon showing up at the restaurant was that they had a set menu that was $120 a couple. So management is perfectly fine with holding an $80 cancellation fee per couple over their head because they're charging $120 for a preset menu. They did have another menu that was priced per item, but all the prices were raised and the prosciutto and fig salad with salmon I was looking forward to was not on this menu. I ended up getting the flank steak, medium rare, with truffle parmesan risotto. My boyfriend ordered chicken breast with with goat cheese and a chili sauce i think it was. The wait for the food was a bit long but good risotto takes 30-40 mins so I didn't mind watching people who came in after us receive their food before. My steak was damn near about to start walking off my plate to return to its family that's how raw it was. Not sure if the chef was aware that medium rare is generally cooked on the edges and has a reddish inside but my steak was blue rare I could hardly cut through it. The waiter was inattentive and I had to call over the busboy, who seemed less than happy he had to interact with a guest, to call my waiter over. Nevertheless the waiter returned and took my plate back to the kitchen. Strangely, few seconds after he walked back in the kitchen there was an eruption of laughterone can only wonder. He returned a few minutes and my steak was now rare, but I dealt with it as it was still good steak. The risotto was incredible. The veal sauce on the steak was heavy on the stomach, but still very good. The prosciutto that came on the chicken dish was also incredible. The chicken did come on the bone and had gristle which I found odd for the price but my boyfriend enjoyed it. Overall the food was worth the price, though I do think passing a glorified skirt steak, generally used in mexican street food off for $30 was a bit much but if they used real truffles the price could be justified. I would say I would dine here again, but with the regular menu because the fig/prosciutto salad with salmon is still something I'd like. The ambiance of the place was welcoming and the wood tables had that farm to table feel. As for management "not mentioning" the $120 preset menu to us or the equally as shocked couple that came in after us, but remembering to take my boyfriends card number for a cancellation fee, I still find that extremely shady business.

Not trying to exaggerate when I say this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. Great cocktails, great food, friendly service. Had no problem getting a reservation on a Sunday night at 6. The atmosphere wasn't too loud, which was nice for holding conversation. Outdoor seating was available, but we chose to sit in the wine cellar cove. Very nice!
