Went here for a Christmas party. It was a very nice experience. The truffle fries, bacon brussel sprouts, and chocolate cake were especially good. The party area was nice and enclosed from the rest of the restaurant so it was quiet. There were nice heaters to keep the area warm.
Good food, attentive and friendly staff (they're 5 star). It's pricey, but then again it is Bankers Hill.
Great food, awesome service. Ask for Gene, she's the best! We'll be back!
One of our favorite local places, very well done inside and outside rustic wood which makes for a very inviting and comfortable restuarant and bar. Upscale casual with good food, good menu, very good service as well. The bar isn't overly large but can be a good place to have beverages or even have a meal.
Best place for our 34th anniversary dinner. Nice wait staff, Cabe was great.
My husband and I have been coming here for years. Great service, excellent creative cocktails, and tasty quality food. The interior is rustic and modern and has a casual but warm feel. Trendy crowd but also great to bring your whole family to. Highly recommend!
The food was on point! But our service lacked a little in timeliness. They took forever, around 45 minutes to get our appetizers, then 20 after we were done with those to bring out the mains and then sent our order wrong doubling on certain dishes. They didn't even take them off the bill even though it was their mistake and had to make them correct it, but it was so late because a fast casual dinner with friends evolved into an almost 3hr event. This was on a Thursday evening, almost empty restaurant. No warning of understaffing was made so we're not sure if this was a singular occurrence or regular practice.
Great food. Great service. Great play list. Great chris.
Great food, drinks & service! A must try. We went for Brunch & will return!
I have always enjoyed eating at this restaurant, as the service, food, and atmosphere, is always wonderful. However, I was there a couple nights ago, and found the restaurant very unclean, and you couldn't even was your hands because the water coming out of the Fawcett didn't work.
I was extremely disappointed with the service here during Restaurant Week. I know it is not our waiters fault for the way the front of the house was handled as well as the kitchen. But you know this is not Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurants first rodeo with Restaurant Week. So, I really don't feel bad at all for giving two stars.
The reservation was at 7:30 PM and was not seated until 8 PM for a group of 6. Some of us were early, and the host did not want to seat us until we have everyone in the group present. There is no seating area to wait so you just stand there and hover around, accept for this dinky chair for one in the corner.
It took a long time to order drinks and food. It took a long time to receive our food. By the time we finished dinner and dessert it was already 10 PM. I didn't have an enjoyable experience and the food didn't taste good when you're mood changes when your tired and hungry AF. The excitement just went away
Our server kindly served us with champagne on the house for our table of 6 hangry girls after dinner. Which was nice of her to do, when it should have been the manager on duty? No? Yes? IDK? There was a larger group in the house and I believe more attention and focus was on them. Other people who sat after our group had their food before us and left the restaurant before us. IDK there is something going on here Also I think there should have been more workers during the event to focus on their assigned table sections and to provide better customer service.
And to find out they are related to the MARKET in Del Mar was very surprising! I went there for dinner and service was exceptional.
Amazing craft cocktails and exquisite food!! There is a limited menu so they really focus on each dish's flavor (and the butternut squash ravioli was to die for!)
Great wine selection!! Amazing waitstaff!!
