If you want to overpay to hear the people in the room above you all week this is your place!!! Substandard construction of wood framing means that every sound is telegraphed right into the room below. No soundproofing whatsoever!!! Three days of kids running back and forth dropping golf balls on the tile floors. I've stayed in Motel 6 hotels that had better acoustics than this place. Don't be fooled by the lush grounds and beautiful buildings. The place sucks!!! Called management everyday and finally on the last day of our stay they visited the offending "guests" above us - then reported they have a bunch of kids in the roomNO, REALLY?? I told them that the first day of our stay. I wanted to knock on the offenders door myself but my gf thought I should let security "handle" the issue. Not to any satisfaction. Rooms are expensive, but nicely appointed but the substandard construction and lack of care by management means NO more visits to this place. This could have been handled by having "a bunch of kids" on a ground floor room or moving us to the top floor. Next time it's Motel 6 for a little R&R.

I loved our stay here. There is so much to do, several pools to choose from, and like I said, so many activities. I liked having the full kitchens, it really helped cut down on costs, being able to cook for the family instead of going out to eat every night. The sunrises a d sunsets were just sublime from the balcony. I wish we could have spent an entire week there, there's just simply so much to do, you really don't even need to leave the property except for grocery shopping bevause they have stuff for every age to do.

Our Villa was great. Full kitchen, 2 bdrms, 2 baths and a great view from our balcony. Customer service was great. We needed a few things we'd forgotten and it wasn't a problem. Will definitely visit again

Staff was very friendly and helpful whenever there was a question or concern. The room was nice and spacious for being a studio size. Parking is a luck of the draw near your room since its a first come bases. But the overall experience was good.

My wife and I are staying at the condominium with my parents and we absolutely love the accommodations. They have the large room with a full kitchen, jacuzzi, washer and dryer, large balcony, and large sitting room. We have a guest room which can be blocked off from either side. Our side has a small kitchenette private bathroom, a balcony, and a sofa which can extend into a bed. Everything was beautiful, and even the tissues or folded expertly. There are quite a few facilities available including restaurants, swimming pools, bars, weight rooms, playgrounds, and a ton of activities every day of the week. There's also a full size 18 hole golf course as well as miniature golf and a putting area. The staff is incredibly friendly and fun to be around but the sales people they have can be a little bit pushy. All in all, I highly recommend it.

This is our first visit to Shadow Ridge and we absolutely loved it. From the moment we checked in, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We traveled with our two young kids and stayed in the building next to The Mirage, which is the children/ teen's activity center, and the pools. Our two bedroom villa was large with a fully equipped kitchen and all the comforts of home. We can't wait to return for our next vacation!

The property is very nice. We were disappointed that the room did not have anything to cook with. It would have been better to know that from the start. We also did not have any water our first full day there for quite some time. We would have appreciated some warning about this so we could have prepared. However, the property is very nice, there are lots of things for families to do here, plenty of pools, etc. The staff was all very friendly and everything was extremely clean and very nice.

Beautiful hotel with plenty to do for kids and adults alike. We only stayed for two nights but I would have easy stayed a week if not for work. The rooms are clean and nicely ACed and the pools are clean and very spacious. The food is very good but a little pricey. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a resort. Overall the area is very nice and if your looking for a family destination for Palm springs then this is the hotel for you.

Great amenities, especially at the activities center for the kids. Pools are fun, but can get a bit overcrowded, no big deal though. The grounds are beautiful and nice to walk around in. The biggest downside is the room experience. Though they are spacious and nicely laid out you can hear everything the people above you do. From them opening and closing doors to everywhere they are walking at all times of the day, early morning and late at nightIt is definitely not a relaxing or enjoyable experience during these times. We have been coming here for 4 years now and can say it has been this way every time. I think it's time to look for a new place to come to in the Palm Springs area.

Had a terrible experience. We made reservation directly through Marriot and they didn't tell us this is a time share. Gave us a handicap room without asking us. Check in was at 4 and check out at 10! Room was worn out, torn carpetreally terrible.

I won't stay at this property again. The first room they gave us was so small! We couldn't fit our family of 4 and a couple of suitcases inside. It was smaller then most regular hotel rooms. We ended up paying $150 more a night to get a suite. The suite was nice, but the amenities were not. There was no towel service for pool towels. We had to reuse our dirty pool towels for 3 days. There is also no housekeeping unless you want to pay. The first day we were there they emptied our trash and gave us fresh bath towels, but charged us $30. Seriously! Who's heard of having to pay just to get trashes emptied and clean towels? Even a Motel 6 would do that for no additional cost.

In addition, the pool facilities are way too small for the amount of rooms on the property. There were no chairs and no space in the pool. And you can forget about being sereved while relaxing. The service was terrible and you won't be able to relax. This resort is not equipped to properly handle as many guests as they have room for.

My advice is to stay at the Westin Villas or the Palm Springs Hilton. You sure have let me down, Marriott!

Great place, but the covered parking spots are sub-standard by any means of measurement. They are single lined and have huge short concrete supports that actually jut several inches into your space. If you're the driver, you will not see the one on your right and may gently scrape the side of your car as I did. Witness the numerous markings of tires and some paint on the supports.

2 staffers told me that this problem is common knowledge to Marriott. I filed a damage report but Marriott would not honor it as I "had hit an immovable object". Great sour grapes way to end a vacation.
So be careful, you are on your own.

The night we went was windy. Nice, professional ambiance if a little traditional and stuffy. Lots of wood paneling and polo trophies. Good place to attend an event but there are more modern places to if I'd like to stay.

Room was clean and tidy. Pool area is large with lots of seating. Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop has lots of cool and unique things. We really enjoyed our stay!
