There is much to like and little to dislike when dining at Bangkok st. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are plentiful. You even get a bonus if you sit in the center of the dining area because of the t.v. setup, where you have fox news on one side and CNN on the other. The only dislike I have relates to the smell of feces permeating throughout the restaurant. If this bothers you so, take out is always an option.

Ordered Beef Masaman Curry here - it came out perfect. Potatoes well cooked and soft, plenty of beef and tasty curry. Will order again in future.

Love this place. After living in Thailand for over a year I've been eating Thai food everyday. The taste here is spot on across several dishes and prices very reasonable compared to popular expensive places in Thailand while having the same taste and better quality ingredients and way cheaper than all other "fancy" Thai restaurants in VA let alone DC while being higher quality or same.

Those complaining about things unrelated to the food quality don't realize how good they have it. Plus if you're not Thai or lived extensively in Thailand you have no say on the food quality here and just basing it off your westernized "palate". Feel free to ignore all the negative reviews here that don't know what they are talking about lol. Good for a laugh though 555

I will say they westernize the spicy ness on their dishes but they can accomodate spicy levels and nothing some crushed red peppers or Thai chili sauce can't fix.

Finally eating here brings me back to Thailand and all the good memories I have had there.

Their $5 off a $25 order is misleading and false. I was able to use it two days before for an order of $24.85 before tax, and today was told the order has to be above $25 before tax. When I mentioned there wasn't a problem before, and the online deal says TOTAL ORDER, the manager, Ying, said the computers have been reprogrammed and she can't do anything, not even for a twice a week customer! Since I was 15 cents short, they said order more food?!?!? That's just wrong to play the market like that.

    Update: 02/16/17
Changing back to 5 stars because they updated their website, and because their food is tasty.
