Working here was one of my worst experiences of my life. The kitchen has roaches, the owners don't care enough to maintain the back house and keep everything up to date and rather "save money" for "more important things" this may look like a great restaurant but working here I can assure you it isn't and on top of all of this they underpay their employees and money constantly gets lost and what work place enforces a mandatory uniform and makes you pay for it with your own money?

Great variety of foods. Nice locals hangout. Can go and have drinks and catch a game or just sit and have a meal. Great environment.

Very positive surprised, passed several times this bar/restaurant, but never recognized it.
Found it via Google while searching for a place to eat.
Good price value. Tasty. Good quality. I liked the Oysters and the grilled fish. Variety of beer you normally don’t find here and the desert was great as well.
    We will definitely come back.

Love this spot. We're locals and dine here once a week. The food is always delicious. Good burgers, wings and sandwiches, as well as stellar seafood. Perfect spot to eat at the bar or at a table.

Great food. Large portions. Fairly priced.
No a quiet place but expected for a sports bar.
Skinny margarita was not good. Everything else was great.

We had Callie as our waitress (hope I didn't mess up her name), and she had an awesome personalty, a beautiful smile, and was very attentive. The food was great and the environment was welcoming. We wanted to taste the gumbo but they were outthe only bummer. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Thank you Bunky's, can't wait to come back for the gumbo.

An amazing place to eat after a long day on the beach. The service was great, the waiters were respectful and courteous. There was a comforting atmosphere as well. The food came relatively quickly to my mother, sister, and I. Also, the food itself was quite palatable. Definitely recommend to families or if you want to "crack open a cold one with the boys".

The good reviews below are prior to the new owners taking over.

I'm a local who use to go to Bunky's a few times a week with the family but I refuse to support the new owners. They are the worst people. Like new owners the tried to fix something that wasn't broke and made it worst. Had to send food back after a long wait that was way under cooked and just had them bring a salad so to not wait another hour for food and the OWNERS told the server to make us pay for the under cooked food sent back. (Really) and they didn't have the balls to come out from in back to confront us. Regardless we didn't pay for that. Even their fish dip is the worst in the state. It is now just a sports bar for the tourist and the food sucks at a higher price. A lot better options beachside then this place.

My wife and I have been there 3 times now. We are attracted to places that have good food. So selection of alcohol is not priority. They do have a full bar and a decent selection of beer. The seafood I think is the best we have had in the area. We have also seen a few games I'm there and the atmosphere was wonderful. The only negative I have is parking is always a premium.

Came in the other for lunch with the hubby and let's just say we were NOT disappointed. I was craving shrimp and ordered the steamed shrimp with drawn butter. I requested garlic in my butter and the server put fresh garlic in the butter and it was absolutely perfect. The hubby had boneless wings and they were hand battered and cooked to perfection. I also had the seafood gumbo which was flavorful and hearty. Overall great environment, great service, and great food! Will definitely be back.
