Went in because I was having some shifting issues with my Civic. Turned out it was a simple fix that only took 15 minutes, car shifts like new now. Friendly, professional staff, took the time to explain my options as well as what would be the most cost effective. 5/5, would recommend.

Truck would shift but wouldnt go into gear. Couldnt even roll it in neutral. Basically stuck in park. Had it towed here and they let me know I needed my transmission rebuilt. This was the first initial diagnosis without getting too far into tearing it apart. Once they dropped the pan and drive shaft, they found my transmission was fine. Was just a worn out parking rod. Now, they could've still told me I needed a rebuild. But they were honest with me and saved me about $2,000. I will definitely go back for any trans problems in the future. Nancy was very kind and knowledgable.

Very happy with my experience at Automatic Transmission Clinic this morning. Came in thinking I may have a serious transmission issue, and was informed it was actually a much cheaper problem. Some shops would have taken advantage of my situation seeing as my problem did appear transmission related and my transmission is under warrenty, but not ATC. They even took the time to show me the issue and provide me with options for the repair. Highly recommend!

Just picked up my car literally less than 5 minutes ago, and I will always take my car here for transmission issues. Nancy is awesome. Most people will get irritated with numerous questions, but not her. She is so kind. They helped me out with my 2008 Jeep Commander that I had for just one month TODAY. I have a 1 year warranty on it, and it already needed transmission work on it. They made sure my car was taken care of, and fixed ASAP. Great job guys. A+++++++

The transmission on my 2009 Saturn Vue started sounding really bad. I had read several articles regarding my symptoms and the various issues/prices associated with my vehicle. While I am comfortable with working on my own vehicle, I was not qualified to perform this work, so I called The Automatic Transmission Clinic.
In the beginning I didn't trust this business because I did not know them. I conveyed this apprehension to the woman who answered my call. I requested all the parts that were to be replaced, returned to me and the parts that couldn't be returned to have pictures taken that showed serial numbers and bar codes.
She questioned me about my request and asked me where this was all coming from. I blatantly said to her that I didn't trust her business and I was trying to protect myself any way I could.
She then explained to me that they have been in business for 50+ years and hadn't been business that long by screwing over customers. She then invited me to come down to the shop and show me what they had done and all of the people who worked on my vehicle. I told her that I would take her up on her offer.
After the initial chat, she then proceeded to tell me what the technician had discovered. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient with answering all of my questions and concerns. The quote that was given was expensive (of course, it is a transmission, not an oil change) but she explained to me that it was expensive because they were doing a full rebuild of the transmission. I was expecting that they would only replace the part that was causing the issue. Her advice was sound as the full rebuild would fix any potential problems.
When I arrived at the shop for "show and tell" she proceeded to show me around and introduce my wife and I to the technicians who were working on my vehicle. All of the people that I met showed me what they had discovered at various stages of the repair. Everyone I met there was extremely patient with answering my questions and helped me put my mind at ease from the initial distrust.
The gentleman who rebuilt my transmission (who was the 3rd owner?) explained every part and detail of not only how transmissions work, but more importantly how mine failed. This was a very calming and reassuring experience as he had confirmed everything I had read during my research. Additionally, the woman who I originally spoke with asked other questions to the owner that I hadn't thought of. I picked up my requested returned parts and took pictures of all the parts that were to be returned.
After my vehicle was done, I went and picked it up. The woman explained to me all the things I could expect that would happen with my vehicle over the course of the next couple of weeks. The bill was organized and itemized so that every penny that I spent was accounted for.
Overall, this experience was vastly different than what I initially expected. This was an absolute joy to meet this business and all who work for it. My experience showed me that everyone that I met concerning my repair had immense pride in their jobs and customer satisfaction. They were extremely accommodating and I felt that my money was well spent.
Thank you so very much for putting my mind at ease and taking the time to introduce me to your family of professionals. I now know the next time I have transmission issues, I know exactly where to go.

Great work and very fast! I have had 4 transmissions rebuilt there and never have let me down. The owners are also very nice and wonderful!
