I didnt even get a response on my application! Its suppose to be a "buy here pay here" place. The oldman didnt even know what he was typing on his laptop. I am never referring anyone to this place. Its a poor way to treat a customer in my opinion. He says "I will have an answer from CP credit union by the time you get back from your test drive" He was still asking me questions when I walked back in a half hour later. Just wow. Now I know why their business is failing and they dont sell many cars. Who deals with just one lender anyways??

Brought a car 2 week later car starting having problems called then lefts messages no-one called back or answered paid 5,000 for car spend $2500 into fixing car and still having problems don't go here

Horrible customer service, clearly their methodology it's my way or the highway. I previously went here looking at a Chevy Cruze made an offer and the person helping me told me he was just related to the boss that makes the calls. I started off telling the so called sales man I had to find a car TODAY. The person that made the decision was at lunch so he said. I can't believe there was only one person in the office that could make the decision. So we made an offer and asked they get back with us. They never did and I'm glad off it because I found another Cruze a year near 25,000 miles one owner and with a backup camera. Would never go back here again! Over priced and unprofessional! Remember people most places buy cars on the auction block or take them on trade and the original seller takes a hit. Dealerships have wiggle room, unless you go here.

Auto merchants of Jackson is a terrible place to buy a used car!!! We just purchased a vehicle 3 days ago, 1 of them which spent in the shop to find out that it needs a body module. This affects the turn signal and needs to be replaced, a $450.00 cost. We purchased the extended warranty ( not covered) it also came with a 6 month warranty from the dealershipthe owner, refuses to pay for the cost of repair. Seriousy, chump change for himhe wants to buy the car back from us however, to fix and mark up to re sell to someone elsehis words exactly! I am spreading the word because it is unprofessional and illegal! I'm not a Sue happy person but we have laws to protect us against stuff like this. I hope the law takes our sideso please be advised, stay away from auto merchants of Jackson, MI!!!

My experience at Auto Merchants has been pleasant. I live a little over an hour from the dealership but when I showed interest in a vehicle, they were willing to hold it for me. When I was able to make it to their facility, they were efficient and got me out on the road in a decent car in a timely manner.
