Stayed in hot tub room.Room 221. Hot tub was great. Bed had thinnest covers ever. They need to provide some decent covers for the price we paid. The pool was great. Hot tub in the pool area was also great. Both were very clean. Beware that the motel room 221 door will not lock when you shut it unless you pull super tight. This could be dangerous as far as I am concerned. I told the office and they said they would fix it. But, who knows So many of the workers had some sort of language barrier that I didn't know what they were explaining. They were polite and welcoming , but hard to communicate requests. Our room was not clean even at 3 pm that 2nd day so I told her to not clean it just give us towels. I don't think she knew what I was saying so I just said we need towels and said no to cleaning and shook my head. Everyone is friendly there, yes, but seems a bit mismanaged. Price was a little steep, but it was some tractor show weekend, so we were lucky to even get a room both nights.
Really bad smell in the room on the first floor. It's like going to get my nose itchy and get sick. The breakfast is horrible. It's like a half size of the continental breakfast that most hotel offer. Coffee has no taste and they use tab water for everything. Staff is friendly, but the quality of the place is 0 star!
I would not want to stay here if I was not with the tour bus.
Room was clean but the beds were the worst. I don't stay at many hotels, but these were bad. Very firm with no support. I even like a firm mattress but these were just bad. Hotel staff was nice. The breakfast was pretty sad. Things were stale, sausage was cold, gravy was just bad. I don't think we will be staying here again.
Great staff with good facilities. I actually became very ill while I was visiting the area and they were nice enough to let me have a late check-out for free. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Nice location and good place! The hotel rooms were clean and were also cleaned daily. The breakfast is nice too with options like scrambled eggs, biscuit gravy and fruits. The location is nice with downtown and ferrys to walking distance.
We stayed in the extended stay suite. When you're used to tiny motels, it was like some sort of luxury treatment! Comfortable beds and reliable wifi seem like they're commodities when you're looking for reasonable rates, so I felt VERY lucky to have found this place.
Good Hotel.. for medium budget
An ok place for an overnight stay. Room was good. Breakfast was average and very crowded. Staff was good and friendly. Had a problem of a lot of insects outside hotel rooms
Our stay in the beautiful city of St. Ignace was wonderful besides a few things, the breakfast was disappointing and the room where it is held was very warm, uncomfortably warm, especially when you're trying to enjoy your food. Also the room was very small and crowded, not helping with the temperature. The rooms were very clean and enjoyable, until you lay on the bed, which might as well have been a slate of concrete. I don't know if I would recommend staying here, but I do have to point out how exceptional the staff was. The housekeepers were all so friendly and welcoming.
All of the staff members were exceptionally friendly! It is a great location. You can walk right into the lovely town, and you can swim right across the street. I would definitely recommend this inn to anyone looking to stay in St. Ignace
