Very clean room, bedding and bath. Plenty of towels. Nice walk in shower with the body and shampoo soap dispenser on the wall. Nice size continental breakfast. Well lit parking lot in a secure area. They give you actual keys.
the place has clearly been renovated, but that isnt saving it. i can overlook the shoddy outside, but i cant overlook there being no one working the front desk every night, the lack of water in their vending machine, or the central air with no console to control it (it gets too hot in the room).
Looks bad on the outside but rooms are clean and i had a great stay. AC can be loud, but at least its cold.
Was clean. Not quiet because of thin walls and doors. Very comfortable bed. But the curtains are thin so the room didn't get dark enough for me to sleep well.
Pretty seedy with remote management after 9:45 PM at least and slight cigarette smell in the rooms. After reserving a room online and arriving at 9:45 took about 10 minutes to raise anyone at the office. Shower and bathroom is nice, though.
Probably the worst hotel I have seen. Accidentally booked this place through hotwire and show up my neighbor smoking drugs on the curb and broken down cars in the parking lot. There is also a bullet proof window for check in. You couldn't pay me to stay there, nor did I. Would rate 0 stars if possible.
Positives: Rooms were clean. Modern TV. Has a mini fridge. Parking abundant. Rooms all on first floor for easier access. Allowed late check-out. Negatives: Rooms were kind of pricey at $90 each for what you get. Hardwood floors. Outside appearance of motel looks ghettoish. Bathroom small with no poop vent. No extra sink area like most modern motels have. Kitchen area is literally in a closet. These rooms should be priced much cheaper in my opinion. Somewhere around $50-60 a night seems much more appropriate.
Nice, private, clean, but no pets allowed :-(
Nothing to special. It is close to events though.
Good place to stay, needs stronger WiFi signal.
No late check-in on-site. They require you to travel across town to their other location to check in, then travel back. Not the nicest motel by any means. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
This is a budget hotel and is accurately described as such. My room was clean and functional. Breakfast was available in the morning and my safety deposit was refunded appropriately. Sure, there was some noise late at night, but it was negligible. And the neighborhood isn't "bad" by any reasonable standard. If seeking a cheap lodging in Madison, this hotel is a sound option. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off.
