Great place to stay. Clean rooms and front desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful.
The staff was very accommodating. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Best thing is that the price was great. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Madison!
Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke and weed smoke. It was unbearable and smelled fresh. They allowed us to switch rooms and we were given a room that had a dirty shower with hair all over and used Kleenex on the floor. Shower made horrible noise while in use and it was so loose it moved with the water. Sheets looked unchanged and multiple outlets did not work. Very disappointed. We understand it's a no frills hotel but we expected cleanliness.
All I needed was a place to sleep for the night and to take a shower in the morning. Desk attendant was rude and I felt like I was bothering him when checking in. Upon entering my room, I immediately was hit with a putrid smell of cigarette smoke, despite apparent strict no smoking policies; and what genuinely smelled like urine. The air conditioner was falling apart, the carpet was stained, the tables were dusty and the bathroom did not appear cleaned properly. The bedding had stains and holes in it - wish I would have had a sleeping bag to avoid sleeping on the nasty linens. The musty smell caused me to be congested me all night. Slept absolutely horrible and would not recommend this dump to anyone. I understand it's an economy hotel but this was pushing it. To top it all off - I've got bed bug bites on my legs.
Very affordable but relatively nice accommodations. Room is clean and beds are nice. Nothing fancy, but it's close to downtown.
Quick and easy check in. My room did not have a fridge or microwave bit it was clean and cheap. Perfect if you don't need much.
Cheap hotel but you get what you pay for. Non smoking room smelled very strongly of smoke. Good for a single night but I wouldn't stay more here.
Worse motel I have ever been to by far. They charged us twice for our 1 night stay. We woke up the next morning to all be completely covered in flea bites. We complained and they said we should have said something last night. we didn't see them in that dim lighted room until the next morning with day light the room was infested. We will never go back to this horrible place, staffed by horrible people. Who try to steal your money unless you catch them then you get to wait a week to get your money back!
If you're looking for a hotel in Madison, this is undeniably one of them. I would very much consider this to be among the hotels that Madison has to offer. It somewhat lacks aspects that would not be associated with a hotel.
This stay was comfortable, the staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean and there were no problems overall a good experience.
We got 2 non-smoking rooms; both smelled like ashtrays. One even had a cigarette burn straight through the comforter. At 3:30 in the morning, some women began fighting very loudly outside our door for around a half hour. Also the room in general was not very clean (yucky carpet, stains everywhere, sticky phones) and the toilet paper was one ply.
The last visit wasn't goodprior visits were great. Quiet and comfortable, close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was a bit cool, but nice. Last visit featured a noisy heating unit and a strange smellbut the previous rooms were 5 star (I travel for business).
The staff was friendly and prompt at check in. The rates were reasonable. The rooms were what you would expect. One of the comforters had a cigarette burn through it. The toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it. The bathtub drain was broken but easily remedied with the complimentary soap as a prop. The shower was fantastic, endless hot water and lots of itnot like gym class! It was fine. We were traveling, it wasn't a destination for us. The tv did allow us to use our Amazon fire stick which was nice. It was a little dirty but nothing that made me call the desk.
