Employees are very helpful and willing to let kids explore and play. They even hand out free stickers. Prices are really high, but it's less about the dolls and more about the experience. They have a doll hair salon, a private party space, and a bistro for kids to eat with their dolls.
The store was really easy to browse, and I didn't get lost or anything. I liked how they had a wall for the different dolls in their various outfits. Really cool
I'm Caucasian and I was getting Addy and the lady at the counter asked and I quote , " Wouldn't you rather get a doll who looks more like you like Kit or Maryellen those are pretty dolls and they have a better reputation." I still love the dolls and their stories but not always the employees
I would of given 5 stars because all associates were very welcoming, helpful and the store is easy to browse and shop but once I purchased my items, Kaya’s saddle for horse steps high and a two doll bag carrier the excellent service I had received fizzled. I wasn’t asked if I needed a gift receipt. I didn’t remember until after the transaction. My items were placed in a bag. I asked if I could have a box to wrap the doll bag. I was told the boxes were only for the clothes but she would give me tissue. I noticed the customer next to me was getting her items wrapped in tissue with a star sticker so I aske for the sticker she went in a drawer and got a sticker then asked if I needed a birthday sticker too. Upon leaving I met up with my friend who was still getting her items checked out. The young lady checker her out, Carie?, I think and I hope she doesn’t get back lash, gave me a box! She is why I will travel up from Normandy Park to shop at this store again. Genuine brick and mortar customer service from entering to leaving!
Love this store!! Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly! Lots of great books for girls and of course beautiful dolls, clothes, and accessories. Could easily loose an afternoon just browsing.
Granddaughter and I did the Father's Day Brunch there. They made the day a very special event for us! Five Star.
Staff are very friendly, they have an assortment of dolls and product out on display that the children can try and the cafe is the perfect place for a pampered lunch (but not too pricy)!
Ok so I only had an American dollars years ago that my grandma gave me, and I never even knew this type of thing existed for them! (Probably my parents doing). I went in, and it's very expensive (it's American girl though) And it was so cool. They have a doctor, a hair stylist, and a bistro. Super cool. If I was 8 again. I would be going crazy.
First time here. Its HUGE! So many things to look at and play with and do! They do events and are SUPER friendly and knowledgeable about the products and Care of the dolls.
My daughter loved it, as expected. Polite, pleasant and plentiful.
Well-lit, extremely clean store with tons of beautiful merchandise! A young girls dream store!
Went to the store this morning. Spent over $400 in dolls and accessories. Tried to eat at the Bistro but they didn't open until 11:30 this morning. No big deal We'd go to our doctor appointment and return for a late lunch.
Just left the AG store (2:50pm). The Bistro had 2 customers in it and the lady working refused additional customers. She said she was the only one working as the other lady had to go pick her sick kid up from school. That she was only honoring people who already had existing reservations.
What a great way to treat customers.
I loved the customer service there. Also the hair salon did a nice job on leas hair.
Good service but store policy is pathetic. We know it's overpriced. .however. .an overpriced high chair could at least have a picture of the product so a young child is able to anticipate what's inside..extremely cheap..plus..you are unable to call the store to have questions answered. .very dissatisfied
It was sooooo fun I love American girl, they have a lot of merchandise.
We took our daughter her for her birthday. The store was fully stocked, lots of displays oh all the dolls. Staff was friendly.
If you've been to American Girl before there's no need to warn of prices. However, if you have not, come with at least $200.
We went to the bistro for lunch. It was just the 4 of us and we got the lowest level birthday package. It came out to $100 for a couple burgers and pasta. There was a little cake and ice cream. The food was pretty bad. The quality did not match the price. The only thing that made it worth it, was my daughter was super happy.
If you don't own a doll, the bistro will lend one to you as well.
Wow. This is paradise for all doll lovers. A lovely experience. We brought in our newest doll, she had a stay at the spa while we shopped for her and her sisters. All got a new frock, accessories and my daughter got a matching outfit. A lovely experience but expect to pay for it!
