Love this resort. It's beautiful and quiet and so romantic at night. Quiet places to stroll and just enjoy the beauty of the mountains.

We enjoyed a quick trip away from the City life and discovered this beautiful treasure in the fall, the first few weeks of October.

We are officially leaf peepers and have added it to our favorite places to visit in the fall.

I was sad to see so many of the shops and food spots closed and the resort visitor center was also closed. Granted winter is ski season. I assumed that fall would mean the resort would be gearing up to open. (It was not) plan ahead there is nothing open after 8pm.

If you mountain bike then this is the place, all their trails are super fun! One of the best in Colorado now, they seem to be building more too. Really good jumps, extremely good technical trails, and also have greens and blues that are fun and flowey. I hope they keep up all the good work, if they do they could end up being Colorado's "whistler". Also a bonus with how beautiful it is there.

Gorgeous and lively on Tuesdays in the summer when the gondola is free after 5 and the locals and tourists swarm the mountain on bikes, seeking booze, enjoying the musicand in my case shredding through the shorter of the two lovely disc golf courses and scoring a nice Ace with cool folks I'd just met.

Summer Tuesdays 10/10 cant imagine it being less than awesome any other day either.

Snowmass village is so cool. 11,835ft is the most unbelievable thing you can experiences. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something that you will remember for the rest of your life. It stayed in Aspen but next time I'm staying at SnowMass village.

We have been here several times and we love it. Beautiful place to go with family during christmas. Is a really winter wonderland. The locals are very friendly. The ski slopes are always in excellent condition. Huge mountain, but easy to navigate. The views from the top of the Elk Camp chairlift is stunning.

Love the free bus service in the winter. Four Mountain Beginners Magic was well organized and the surrounding terrain was perfect for all skill levels. Plenty to see and do even if you don't ski. We didn't have a car to get around, but that was no problem at all

I enjoyed this awesome resort, even though I am not very good at ski.
Here are some pros and cons I noticed:
+There were plenty of ski trails and lift options
+Snow was clean and the runs were well-groomed
+The staff was very helpful and friendly
+There were no crowds even during the high season
- Food and beverage are pricey here, so I recommend having a big breakfast at home.
What I like the most about this place? The natural beauty of the mountains. They are amazing in every season!

Looking for lunch places? Go up to Sheer Bliss Lift and return right, Up4 Pizza is just right there. Their Chocolate Chip Cookies and White Chocolate Macadamia Nuts Cookies are SOOOO GOOD (came in warm)!! Their Hawaiian pizza is delicious too! High recommend and I'm definitely going back again♥️

Snowmass has become a major ski resort since I last visited in 1996. Stayed at the Westin which is slopeside. Nice shops and restaurants plus an updated grocery store not too far away.

Nice apartments. Cozy and spacious. Parking can be a bit of a hassle of you reach late in the evening. It's probably worse during ski season

Awesome ski resort. Snowmass is one of the best ski areas in the world. A huge amount and variety of terrain, from beginner to truly expert terrain (chutes and cliffs). Great glade skiing. The mountain has over 4000 vertical feet from the base to the top of the Cirque. Been skiing here and loving it for over 20 years.

It was an ok stay. Nice rooms. Quiet. Our room did not have a screen in the window and our sink clogged but the room was $75 plus tax which is amazing for the area. The bar was nice and all the restaurants and stores in the area made hanging out a lot of fun.

Really cool place to visit or stay. Snowmass is an amazing place with a lot to do. It has a small natural history museum nestled in with the stores and places to eat!

Best Skiing in the world, in my opinion. The mountain is so large each run feels like an adventure. Of course this comes at a price which is very high but, compared to other options (Sunlight), Snowmass or any of the other Ski Co mountains are well worth it. Please, if you can afford it, you need to experience these Mountains.

Although the off season, the hotel was beautiful, the staff were tremendous, and the mountains were fantastic. Can't wait to go back. They suggested we hike Maroon Bells and it was amazing! Jann was tremendous help in getting us a map and suggesting we drive up early. Thank you.

Wide open and long runs make for a fun time. There are also a lot of intermediate areas that are well designed so you don't have to worry about being stuck in a sea of black to reach the bottom. Somehow the whole mountain is in the sun all day as well. That is a nice plus; there aren't a lot areas with flat lighting.

Snowmass Ski Area. Opened 1966-67 season. 50-yr. Anniversary. Fabulous Ski Resort !!
Great Variety of terrain !! Very Strong for Intermediate riders and sliders. 5-mountain restaurants. Amazing beginner area at 10,000ft. Elk Camp Meadows has a ski shop, the Elk Camp Gondola and the Elk Camp Restaurant/Bar. 3,332 acres, 94-trails,
4,406 vertical ft., 22-lifts. 12,510 ft. At the top. Spectacular views. Excellent grooming.
Beautiful new base village and historical quaint outdoor mall. Westin Hotel, Viceroy
Hotel, Holiday Inn Express, Condos and private home rentals. Summertime lifts and mountain biking on the mountain.

I've been skiing for quite som time now, mostly in French alps, and I must say that O didn't expect anything good from skiing in the US. When I came Snowmass, however, I was suprised with really high quality services, nice and wide slopes for those who enjoy chill skiing as well as some hard ones for those who prefer extreme sports. Ski passes and hotels might be a little pricy, but it's worth it for what experience you get from skiing/snowboarding.

Btw you must try out the Long Shot slope!

The largest of the 4 mountains in the Aspen area, with an abundance of terrain of all skill levels. Beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers will find something for themselves here, and plenty of it. Excellent groomed runs and a very good lifts and gondolas system. Hardly any lines, but even when there are the waits are never long. The sheer size and abundance of varied terrain make Snowmass a joy.

Lots of good restaurants on and around the mountain and the village itself, with many resorts on the slopsides as well. Snowmass Village is well connected with Aspen and the other 3 mountains via free bus service that is very regular in the winter and takes about half an hour.
