Fun place to visit in Stowe. The Alchemist has an almost cult like following among beer aficionados. Here you can try free samples of their different brews and get free stickers and coasters. Or you can buy branded t-shirts, sweatshirts, beer chocolate and other souvenirs. The plant machinery is also viewable with interesting information about the manufacturing process.

Great Brewery and always packed! They welcome the opportunity to sample all 3 beers on tap. This brewery is one of a kind and a destination for craft IPA lovers. Make sure to pick up a 4 pack of Heady Topper!

Great place to go for a free sampling before buying their beers. It was quite busy when we stopped by (later Friday night) but everything was running smoothly, no crazy long waits. Good to know there is a limit on what you can buy as well as certain beers do have limits. They're dog friendly as well, a few people brought their dogs in, which is great.

Amazing brews! Stopped here while visiting Stowe because you have to if you enjoy craft beer! It's not a brewery will many offerings but they do offer tastings of three of their beers they have on tap for free and have plenty of cans and merch to go! Definitely stock up on your favorites and bring some home to all you beer friends, they will thank you later! A great location, great design, and great beer!

I was sceptical of all the hype. Everyone always claims they have the best IPA'S and in my experience they turn out to be very ordinary. I visited today. I was not disappointed. I will say that the beers taste better direct from the can than from the draft sames provided. But their Heady Topper is amongst the best I've tried across the world. I've tried more than 1000 different IPA'S and this is in the top 5. Keep up the good work.

This brewery is amazing. You will get free samples when in line and you can watch production. The merchandise and beer are priced where I would've expected. The staff is friendly and take pride in the product and facility. The best part though is always going to be the beer. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful facility. Great beer. But get there early. Heady was sold out early afternoon on our arrival. We were able to have sample pours of Heady and Focal though. Other cans were available.

My family has been going to VT a couple times a year for beer for 4 years now. We always have an amazing time, and have enjoyed the chase of finding our favorite brews. We were so excited with The Alchemist was opening a brewery, but kind of sad to lose the thrill of the chase. The new brewery is fantastic! The line moves like clockwork, samples flow freely, and you can watch the brewery in action. Everyone is so friendly; we just love our time spent in Vermont.

As a side note: We are a family of 4, including two youngish kids. We have taken them to too many breweries and cideries to name. No one has ever batted an eye, and our kids have even received special treats and snacks at some places. We appreciate the kindness extended to us as we visit breweries with our kids, and that they are permitted to be any place we are, so that we can enjoy our trip as a family.

I bring kids to a brewery! This is in response to a previous post. Who brings kids to a brewery? The head brewers of Vermont do.

Beautiful brewery. Free tasters. A lot of merch to choose from. Got to get there early if you want a chance to get Heady or Focal Banger.

Who brings kids to a brewery? I won't go back unless they make it a 21+ facility. I went to enjoy a brewery experience, but had to deal with a bunch of little kids.

Bad A$$ experience. I feel like the luckiest man on the planet when I stopped here. I wanted to stop here after leaving the Lodge up the road. Unfortunately I heard stories of the long lines (hours long) and I just didn't have that kind of time. But a small snow storm hit the night before and BAM, the next day was an empty parking lot and I got right in with no wait. I stocked up on some Heady Topper after some quick taste tests and photo ops. Heady Topper ripped my face clean off; it's one hell of a hoppy beer. These guys run a clean, tight operation. Don't sell to the big corporations boys, keep it local! Thanks for the experience!

5 stars right off the bat for FREE SAMPLES! I remember back in the day when that was how people generated business. Since they gave me free sample, I bought some of their beer afterwards. Win-win

The three beers they had on tap were beyond hoppy. It felt like I was drinking hops tea. Still, the beers didn't leave a sticky feeling in my mouth I was impressed. Anyway, this is a must-visit location for hops enthusiasts

Without any question in this beer drinkers mind, this company has crafted beer that few brewers can achieve. Vermont for is fortunate to have an amazing number of breweries that are redefining the finest beverage on earth. :) To live in Vermont may be the next best thing to heaven, if you enjoy a good brew that is. Thank you, Alchemist -- every last one of you that makes it happen.
