Great value! Cute smaller inn with less than 20 rooms, so it’s quiet even when full. Very clean!! Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Knocking a star back only because the lounge was closed super early with plenty of days in the season left to serve guests. We were looking forward to playing a game and having a drink there after a long day, to realize the lounge is closed April-June 21.

Super friendly owners! Got to give pets to their adorable pups! The room was amazing for the amount we paid and the breakfast was awesome! We will look forward to visiting in nicer weather and when the restaurant is open!

A nice place with a large gathering room that extends to outside. There's an outdoor hot tub for relaxing with some Alchemist beers. The room we are in has a fireplace and a view of the mountains across the street. Friendly staff, no problems. We would stay here again.

Cute hotel just outside of town. Not really walkable, but large rooms a fire place. Continental breakfast was adequate, and the hosts were very kind and knowledgeable. Great stay!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hob Knob Inn in late August. The staff was friendly, fun and made the place feel like home. I would advise to always ask Kate if unsure of what to do. She was always filled with great ideas on new adventures and great places to try cider (our favorite drink). If you are unsure of where to eat around town don't leave the Inn! Rick will whip ya up some amazing ribs and the bar is well stocked (even with some local ciders on tap ;) ). Our room was clean, newly renovated and set off from the main road making for quite nights sleep. Lets just say I made my Boyfriend promise we would make this trip every year.

This is a great place value wise. Close to town and offers consideration for pets. Very friendly staff and clean/comfy accommodations. Past that, there's a bit of rustic cabin/country vibe and a touch worn. It's surely not a pristine modern motel. We never visited the breakfast or bar/restaurant, so I can't comment there. I would certainly consider staying here again.

Located on the apex of a bend on the main drag, BE CAREFUL when pulling out! Even if you don't see someone coming, one of the local a-holes will come screaming down the street and act like it's your fault for trying to get onto the road.

Great food and perfect location. A place to sleep or just dinner/drinks. Whether you're headed up to the mountain or down into town, this place is strategically located in the middle. The family that runs this place are some of the nicest people in town. It really feels like you're staying with friends here.

The breakfast was ok. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but it definitely felt old. The ponds and balconies are nice.

Love this place. Great food, great service. They have a few dogs that love to greet you when you arrive, and the whole family is so inviting. The rooms are cozy and it's just minutes from downtown stowe. Been twice and will most definitely be back a third time.

Great food. Quiet place reminded us of a ski lodge. My rib eye was cooked perfectly medium rare, and a great french onion soup. My wife loved the pesto ravioli.

We initially had dinner at the Hob Knob on our birthdays 7/24/15. Based on our satisfactory experience we decided to take our visiting relatives there on 7/30/15. What a disaster! It took us three times to get the servings correct. The steaks were served with the wrong toppings initially and when we got down to the correct doneness for the steaks it took three iterations before the product was barely acceptable. Our initial visit was on a Friday evening. The second visit was on a Thursday evening. I would definitely avoid a Thursday evening dinner, the crew is not ready for "Prime Time". I will never go back. Toss a coin you might get lucky!
