My wife and I stayed at the ALOFT hotel in Orlando, Florida for a wedding we attended on 12.15 – 12.17 and had issues from the beginning. When I first pulled up I was rushed through the valet as there were other parties waiting behind me. I wasn’t helped with my luggage and I was not given a valet claim ticket.
I reserved my room (King standard room with city view) months in advance. When I checked in they said they didn’t have any king standard rooms so they gave me a room that was facing a building, which was depressing (room 414). I requested a room change and they said one was not available.
Room 414 smelled when I got into the hotel room. The key scanner at the front door to the room was missing its cover and the internal mechanism was exposed. The carpet was dirty and the TV would lose signal periodically. Nothing on the walls, the room felt cold and depressing. Other rooms at the hotel were much nicer (we had many rooms blocked for our wedding event and others were much nicer than ours).
I checked in before my wife and left her keys at the front desk (since I was in the wedding I couldn’t be there when she arrived). The front desk couldn’t locate the keys so my wife had to call me while I was working on wedding activities to explain the situation with the hotel).
One of the phones did not work. My wife forgot her hair brush so we called down to the front desk to get a brush and were told they have combs, no brushes. I was fine with that and asked if they could bring one up, they said NO you have to come get it. The shower head did not hang properly. There was painters tape left all over the bathroom and scotch tape on the walls. We notified the front desk upon checking out. I have pictures I will upload. This is unacceptable. I am a Starwood Preferred Guest and have stayed at many SPG and Marriott locations. I expected better from Aloft and will never stay here again.

Found this place last minute and it certainly is passable. The furniture is way too contemporary for my tastes. The front room looks like a small office.. Which I guess would be fine for someone working on a laptop but why do that in your hotel? The bathroom is pretty nice though. No microwave.

The bedroom is sparse with just a bench, bed and two nightstands. Clock on one table and a light over each position in bed. LG flat screen in each room. Wall mounted hvac control. Large shower but no tub.

No self parking, only valet.

Super comfortable bed. Very nice. Surprised at that. Hotel is geared for trendy professionals.

The staff was friendly and courteous. Lindsey at the bar makes a heck of a long island. There was an issue with my heat but they found a temp solution so I wouldn't have to change rooms and they also comped me 2 drinks, and 20 bucks in their little quick Mart area. If there hadn't been an issue with the heat I probably would have rated 5 stars. Good experience overall.

I've been to tons of boutique hotels and this one just raised the bar. It's my first time here and I've been very happy with everything. I stayed the suite and the the room is HUGE, there 2 TV's and a large desk. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. Gym was nice and the bar has some good food/drink deals during happy hour on weekdays.

The hotel was just ok. It tries to be chic and high end, but it misses the mark on the details. For example, the elevator has cool liquid filled floor tiles that change and move, but the bathrooms have those multi-use, communal pumps for shampoo and soap. The biggest problem though is that the hotel is right next to the highway and the hotel does nothing to keep the sound out. All night, it's just sirens, loud music, and truck rumbling. Great beds, but some of the worst sleep I've had.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great location in downtown Orlando. They don't have self parking available, only valet. I was only there accompanying a friend for a medical consult in a conference room, so I can not comment on the rooms. However, we did walk around the lobby and it is very spacious and the decor is contemporary. The bar is also quite large, with plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful, in assisting us in where we needed to be. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends or out of town guests.

Clean, comfortable, nice. The location was very close to all the bars. The staff was cheerful and helpful. Most of the television channels did not work but we spent little time watching anyway. The biggest downside is the price of anything in the lobby.

Very nice rooms. Great downtown location. However the lobby smelled so strong of cleaning supplies we couldnt stay in it longer than a few minutes. Also, parking information /signage definitely needs to be improved. Had to make 2 long trips around the block to figure out where we could park. Address/ entrance is orange Ave. Parking is not.

We had planned a trip up to orlando to go to water parks. It kind of slip my mind that it was this weekend and forgot to get a sitter for my dog. Luckily this place is dog friendly with no extra fees. The hotel is very modern and vibrant not to mention the rooms are huge!! Enough space for my dog to run around and go nuts. They have great appetizers and drinks in the lobby happy hour is $2 off a few items. A nice pool table and a pool outside in the patio. It's right off 1-4 and is close to all the nightlife and everything else. Pretty cool lake with a fountain to walk the dog around. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for love aloft.

Good location. Great rooms and customer service. It doesn't have a great breakfast so it's probably better to walk up the street to find one.

Great location right near i4 and 408 with valet parking. Hotel looked great and everyone was extremely friendly. Appetizers served at our event were top notch!

We stayed in the Corner Savvy Suite. The room was very nice and spacious and the staff was great. Our room was very warm most of our stay. And at the middle of the night we couldn't take it anymore and went downstairs to tell the person at the front desk. They had to reset the AC and then it worked fine. I don't think that's very typical and they corrected it very quickly. There is so sign for the valet parking so it's difficult to know where to turn in. But overall we were happy with the room and we would stay again.

Aloft is my favorite hotel of all time. We are always on the search for one when we are traveling. I love the spg program. Dogs are welcome here so it makes it very convenient when we travel with our fur baby. Rooms are always clean and the decor is the cutest. Modern vibes. The bar is great. Pool table is at every location and the pools and patios are always clean and pretty. Nice workout area as well.
