Called for a tow with the guarantee that they would refund my money if I called and canceled. I did end up getting the car running and called to chance the charge. The charge was never canceled and they keep telling me they did and I have to file a claim with my credit card company. According to the bank they refunded the charge as cash even though I have never been to their business and have never received a check for the the refund from them. Seems like a shady company to me.

On March 15th I called for a tow because my car broke down on the highway. The lady that answered the phone was rude but I ended up going through with the payment anyways. They charged me and took my money from my bank account but I then cancelled the tow and asked for a refund when I found a better price somewhere else. Keep in mind, I called and cancelled almost immediately after requesting the tow. They said they would issue my refund and a few weeks later I still never got it. I called the shop back to ask about it and it was the same woman. She was still just as rude and condescending. Now about a month later I still haven’t received my $216 back and I can’t seem to get a hold of them.
Edit: Called them again and was told they were too busy to handle my refund at the moment and that they would call me
back which they never did. I checked my bank account and saw I had received $109 from them which still puts me at $107 short of a refund. If there is a cancellation fee, I understand that but 1. there’s no way a cancellation fee is that much money and 2. that would’ve been nice to know if there was. This place is one hell of a scam.response / report this review -

This father-son team were super helpful when me and my 6 year old daughter were stranded out of state. I felt safe and taken care of, they got us home in good time, and they were kind and we paid a fair price. I am grateful to have an honest company to turn to when I need help next time we are in Wisconsin.

The folks at Alligator towing really went above and beyond this last week. My vehicle broke down during the peak of the "polar Vortex" we experienced last week. Due to someone at Roadside assistance dropping the ball at 6:30 in the morning, my wife and I found ourselves needing to scramble to get an emergency tow at 3 in the afternoon. My wife is an on call nurse and had on call duties that night. The only way we could secure a replacement vehicle was to have it towed to the dealership by 5:30 pm. After multiple calls to local tow operations, we where basically told too bad. My wife called Alligator and was helped by a very nice dispatcher who was VERY sympathetic towards our situation. She was able to find someone to help. We are so appreciative! In addition, our Tow guy Michael was extremely helpful and personable. A plus job by this company. THANK YOU!

They were so nice on the phone and were quick to come help us. Super helpful as well. They even made sure farm and fleet had my tire size before they dropped my car off. Thank you alligator towing!

My girlfriend's car blew a tire at night. It took them a half hour to get to where we were (15 min drive from their location), and they changed the tire in less than 5 minutes. It went super smoothly and I appreciate the speed and efficiency.

These guys are amazing I just got a tow from them today from my work to my house my truck broke down and wouldn't start I tried jumping it at work and nothing so I called alligator towing and they sent out the nearest guy who was an hour away even though it was a wait it was still a good tow and I'll trust them more then any other tow company. They're quick with calls and know what they're doing. Thank you alligator towing, especially Michael for coming to my work and towing my truck and bringing me home with it.

Me and my grandmother had the best service from this towing company, if I even need towin again (I hope not) I'll definitely try here first! Came within the time frame I was given. My key was stuck in the car when he got there and he was able to jump it so we could get it in N to tow it, since as soon as he disconnected the cables the car died again! Very helpful and definitely went out if his way to help us. I only wish I would have had him jump of one more time since my keys are still stuck in the car and my windows are stuck down haha. Thank you guys!!! Great job!

Greatest towing experience yet. Really. Transmission went out 1 1/2 hours from kenosha where i live and my emergency road service called countless tow truck companies and everyone refused or said 5 to 6 hours. Michael at alligator was on his way in minutes! Flawless and fast hook up and very knowledgeable and polite. Would call them first anytime ill ever need assistance. Thanks again Alligator Towing!

I use them for all my towing needs. I ran out if gas early in the morning and they came to help me quickly even though I couldn't give them an accurate location. I'm a single mom on a budget. They are affordable and fair.
