Really cool shop. They had a wide selection of really nice rocks and gems. They have some really unique pieces for the serious collector and lots of smaller ones for people just starting out their collection. The staff was super friendly and very informative. Highly recommend.

Had a very good experience coming here. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet. They have a wide variety of crystals and more to pick from. I’ll be bringing my family back. I would recommend to anyone planning to visit to do some research on crystals that you are interested in. The prices are very reasonable and not over the top like other stores. Make sure to check them out!

Outstanding service! I was there a couple days ago and they took their time to help me choose the right crystal pieces that I need for a gift I was making. I was there for quite a while and they reassured me to take all the time I needed and offered assistance. Every staff member has experience with their items and a lot of knowledge. Very welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. The prices are very affordable and reasonable as well. I MOST DEFINITELY recommend to my friends and will visit again soon. Thanks guys!

I love this place! I went here yesterday for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The employees were so kind and very helpful, I was looking for a moldavite piece but it was out of my price range and they found another crystal, malachite, and I ended up buying that but 10/10 recommend I will definitely be coming Back and the prices were so reasonable and affordable!!! And everyone was social distancing and wearing a mask, super convenient!

beautiful store! awesome location. easy street (paid) parking. all fossils and crystals are beautifully displayed. super reasonable prices. some items proceeds are donated to local communities. very cool place.

Great staff, quite knowledgeable and a great selection of precious, semi-precious, mineral, crystal and rock specimens. The prices are mostly great, and there's plenty of items to browse.

Okay, here it is. I am from Wisconsin. I was actually visiting a different crystal shop and came across this gem. No pun intended. I could have kicked myself for not coming here first, however that did not stop me from investing in some of their beautiful beauties!!! I love this place!! I had fun. The prices are EXTREMELY affordable. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. They have some of the most beautiful specimens I have ever seen. They are also very hands on. You are welcome to pick things up, check them out and anything behind glass they will happily help you with as well. I couldn't say enough positives about " On The Rocks" wonderful. Thank you On The Rocks for your kindness. I will be back.

Good store and friendly staff. I brought a few gems from them and i was pleased with my items. The store didn't carry a few rare stones that i wanted and i had to order my rare gems from my favorite online store.

Not everybody has a rock shop like a grocery or barber. And I won't venture to far to presume what makes a good rock shop for everyone. but this shop has a regularly renewed supply of spectacular specimens that are moderately priced and the owner is kind and Respectfull. He also keeps a staff that represents him and the store well. It is not close to my home but I find myself here quite routinely.

I love coming here. The people are very friendly and helpful. And I grew up as a kid liking rocks and minerals. Now I know why I enjoy coming here. They workers are very helpful. It helps bring me comfort and peace. It's like my sanctuary. If you want to find something rock(s) come here. You will be glad you did. Something worth spending you're money on.

Exceptional and vast selection of both entry-level, yet good-quality stones, and high-end, exquisite pieces in the display cases under lock and key for the more prestigious and rare-seeking collectors. Aside from a vibrant selection of stones and minerals, they offer an abundance of literature, jewelry, fossils, and mineral/stone-based sculptures, plus much more. Anyone, be they the high-experienced and well-seasoned collector, a beginning rockhound, or just a seeker of treasures or merchandise to behold, should pay the store a visit. Everytime I visit the grand city of Chicago, I make a stop at the celestial crystal shop. The staff members are very knowledgeble, friendly, and helpful. Go see them!

Absolutely fantastic shop full of fantastic people, energy and of course, awesome crystals, fossils and minerals. Not to mention a great selection of crystal necklaces, wire wraps and other jewelery from local artists. All and all my favorite metaphysical crystal shop on Chicago 🎩
