Will not be returning. Staff is not wearing masks at all (not even partial). Many customers are also without mask even though the sign says nobody can be in the store without mask. Will be making the trek to a store further away that takes this seriously.

This is the hardware you knew before the 'big box' stores ruined our nation. None are American owned. H & B not only has all your hardware & related needs, they have the knowledge to assist you with your project. You don't have to walk hundreds of feet to locate your item(s). It's just a few feet from the door & any one of the very knowledgeable and friendly staff can & will assist you in your search. As long as I have been a N/W Sider, I have been a 'regular' customer. I'm there so frequently, customers ask me where to find an item! Make this your hardware 'haunt' too and you won't be disappointed!

This hardware store is truly fantastic. The staff are always friendly. They have a *ton* of knowledge and are always up for solving a problem- I call and stop by for all kinds of things and they have helped me work through all of it. This shop is totally the epitome of a classic neighborhood business - they are great community resource, and honestly, just wonderful people.

Great hardware store! The staff are knowledgeable and willing to help. Lots of hard-to-find little things you'd never come by at a big-box. Amazing selection of merchandise.

Great little store. Excellent service! They're not a big box store so don't expect super cheap prices, but you will get help and guidance if you need it. And I've been able to find things at this store that are unknown at the big stores.

Very knowledgeable, personable staff. Came in for a gas can a couple weeks ago and the owner/manager offered me a discount because he saw that they were going to be on sale the following week.

Excellent Service, Brought my broken screen and window in, and they were repaired perfectly. Got a few keys made while I was there as well. Highly recommend this place.

I've never seen a more neighborly and friendly hardware store. My rollerblades lost a wheel and I went in looking to see if they had a solution for me. I was a long way from home and was ready to walk all the way back, they took my wheel, found a replacement screw and let me fix them in the shop. On top of that they didn't charge me for the screw or the use of the tools. I am truly thankful for these guys. They have good hearts, not something that is very common now-a-days. If they are reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I love this hardware store! It reminds me of the stores I used to go to with my father, long before the big-box stores existed, especially because it's small yet absolutely crammed full of so much useful stuff! And the staff is so knowledgeable, even the "newbies," and gives such good advice. I almost always find exactly what I need here, so I always visit this store first. Thank you, H&B!.
