An inexpensive clean room with a good bed. Just what I needed. I wouldn't say the desk people were super friendly, but they got the job done.
The one odd thing was that I forgot my suit in my room when I left. As soon as I realized what I had done, I called them. After some initial problems in communication they told me they would send me my suit. I told him to just drop it in a box and charge it to my credit card. They told me "no problem." After waiting 3 weeks I called the hotel and they reassured me that it had been sent. But they did give me the number of the local Ship and Copy that they use. Thinking it was a futile effort, I called the Ship and Copy. They said, "oh yeah, it's been here a long time. We were just getting ready to throw it away." The hotel had just handed them the suit in it's carrier and said "call this number and get a credit card number for the suit shipping charges". The number they gave to the Ship and Copy place was the wrong number so I was unaware of the situation. Since it was a $600 suit, I'm glad I got it back. That was probably more luck than anything.
This has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel, just a general attitude that pervades the place.. I guess the ultimate lesson in this was for me. Don't forget items in your room when you leave and it will be fine.

Very friendly staff. My flight came in late. This is a good place to spend a night before going on my trip. It's very close to the airport and they do offer airport pickups. I booked a car at the airport. They sent me back to the airport to pick up my car the next morning. I didn't have to get a taxi and pay extra fee for that.

So, I stayed here based on the google reviews. I feel like everyone deceived me so I would have just as bad of a stay as they really had. Hahaha. That being saidthis hotel is old. I felt gross just being in it. The front desk girl was rude upon arrival. The hotel smelled weird. The bed was actually pretty comfy. (The one good thing). The breakfast was yummy, but made us both sick.. so I dunno. I would definitely never stay here again. So if you're looking for something nice, this is not the place. If you're looking for something quick, yeah I guess maybe it's the place for you.

We were very disappointed in our stay last night at Airport Inn. The front desk staff was very friendly and were very accommodating in letting us check in early. We chose this hotel for the affordable price and indoor pool which my kids were so excited to use. I verified with the front desk that the pool was open and let them know we would be going in right away. We promised to take our kids swimming before a show we had tickets to see that night in SLC, and had carefully planned in a short swim before we got ready.

The pool was okay, much smaller than the pictures show, but we were the only people there so it worked great for us. We dried off and went back to our room to take showers and get ready before we needed to leave. I turned on the shower and let it run for at least 5 minutes - it was FREEZING cold!! I finally called the front desk and they told me that their hot water boiler had been down for the afternoon and that there wouldn't be any hot water until it was back on - although they said it should only be about 5-10 minutes longer. About 30 minutes later I tried the water again - no hot water at all!!

At this point I was very frustrated because we had our night planned out without much wiggle room, and this inconvenience was putting us very behind. I searched other hotels in the area and found one that would meet our needs, and we were ready to pack up and go so we could all take showers and get ready.

Still in my wet swimsuit in my room, I got dressed and went down to the front desk. There was a large group in the lobby waiting for a shuttle, and not wanting to cause a stir, I politely and very quietly so no one but the employee I was talking to could hear me - asked if we could have a refund for our room because we needed to get ready. She would not make eye contact, which was so strange because she was so friendly before, and told me it would only be another 15 minutes. Hoping that this was the case, because it would take us longer to go to another hotel, we decided to wait again.

It took about another 30 minutes until I was able to get water just warm enough to be barely tolerable. By this time everyone was dry and we were very very behind schedule - so I was the only one who was able to take a quick, cold, shower. The rest of my family all went the rest of their night feeling dried out and smelling like chlorine.

This is a lot of rambling to get to my point - I totally understand that things happen, maintenance needs to be done, or things break down and need to be repaired. However, I was so upset by the fact that the staff KNOWING that we were going to the pool did not think to tell us that we would not have any hot water after! We had checked in while the problem was being worked on, they could have easily let us know - even without the assumption that we would need to shower. It just seems like a simple common courtesy that was dismissed hoping that the problem would be avoided. If we had known we could have easily rearranged our schedule and gone swimming another time.

The hotel is old, but for its age is clean, which I appreciated. However, the walls are pretty thin and we could hear every step and flush and shower of the people upstairs. I expected the hotel to be loud from the airport so close. Surprisingly, I did not hear one plane- however, we were up all night with the sounds of our upstairs neighbors who apparently did not sleep either.

We got ready in the morning, finally with hot water, and went down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. It appeared as though one girl was waiting on a nearly-full restaurant by herself. We were told to seat ourselves and then waited for quite a long time without seeing anyone before finally leaving to take our family to the Denny’s down the road for breakfast instead. It’s no fault at all to the waitress, she definitely had her hands full- the restaurant should have been a little better staffed to accommodate the guests.

In the end, I would suggest looking elsewhere unless you are a deep sleeper who just needs a bed. We will not be returning.

I was very impressed by this hotel. Came into town for a concert and this was the closest to the venue and for a great price. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Decor slightly dated but I’m not picky and I must say probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Made fresh in the restaurant with complimentary coffee. So glad it wasn’t one of those buffet style breakfasts with the powdered eggs in a hotel pan. This was great. Definitely will be back!

What an awful experience. Note to the owner: I highly recommend you provide ALL staff with fire safety training including how to properly maintain a smoke detector and on the importance of following fire safety regulations. Read further for details:

We arrived exhausted and ready to sleepthen the smoke detector started chirping. The front desk staff was unable to fix it and said that there was nothing they could do; they were fully booked and the maintenance staff had already left for the day. An hour later we were called and told that they had another room ready. The room was NOT clean: it reeked of what can only be described of as tobacco chew and some sort of overwhelming aftershave.

I went to the front desk and asked what else we could do and the level of customer service was appalling. I was told that the only other option would be to go back to the first room with the chirping alarm (Owner: I was explicitly told by your front desk staff that we could DISABLE THE SMOKE DETECTOR ALARM -- violating state and federal fire safety regulations).

I called the third party who we booked through and got a free relocation to the Radisson. Never staying at the Airport Inn Hotel again.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. TV worked. Airport shuttle was efficient. Didn't get to try the breakfast as I was out so early to catch my flight.

Giving only three stars because the Wifi did not work worth a darn.

The room was average but very clean and had basic amenities. The breakfast was spectacular, and our waitress was wonderful. Best home style country breakfast potatoes. The hotel front desk was not very friendly at all They were quick but dismissive, no smiles or helpful hints. Encountered two different desk attendants (evening and morning) but both behaved in the same lackluster way. Everything else was great though.

We love this hotel! It is our second time staying here and both times the staff has gone above and beyond to meet our expectations! Special thanks to Alisha at the front desk for her eagerness to make sure we had a great room at a great price on such short notice! She really made us feel important and special!

The location is nice, off the main roads so it is quiet, but within a very short distance of everything. Rooms are clean, decently furnished, and reasonably priced. Breakfast vouchers being included was a nice addition to the stay, since they were for the actual attached restaurant and not just continental. Small pool and hot tub, and they are oddly placed basically in the lobby, but still better than none at all. All in all, a very worthwhile three night stay.

Convenient location close to airport and and walking distance from Advantage car rental so we actually returned car night before and took the hotel free shuttle to airport. They also offer complimentary breakfast and you can ask for to go bag if you are in rush.

The airport inn hotel is right next to the rental car place. It made it super convenient when I had to get up at the crack of dawn, drop off the car, and load the shuttle to the airport. The building is a little run down but the rooms were clean. Only found one empty socket to charge my phone in my room though.

This is my second time to stay here for one night. The room is clear and quite. The price is very reasonable. I should mention the breakfast is kind of ordering in demand. Super convenient if you will have a second day flight in SLC. Will back again.

This hotel is great for its proximity to the airport. When we've stayed here we have had a commentary breakfast. See if you receive that with your stay. The hotel staff is friendly, along with the restaurant staff. The indoor pool is nice and the hot tub is hot. The rooms are simple and smoke-free. Note: the power outlet situation is poor. If you need to charge a device it's going to have to be out of the way. So, pack an extension or leave it over night. If you fly out of SLC and stay here they give you a discount on parking and will shuttle you to and from the airport. A really decent hotel for the price.

We stayed one night and the hotel was fine for us. The hotel is a little older, but the room was clean, the desk clerks were friendly and helpful, and the hallways were quiet overnight. Because of the age of the building, the pool is small and a little old looking and our a/c unit, although functional, would only cool off the room so much. The location, really near to the airport, can't be beat.
