Pretty typical motel. Nothing bad or exceptionally good about it. Except the young lady at the check in desk, Corina. Very friendly, professional and helpful. Made me feel welcome. She also checked me out the next day, so I guess she works all shifts. She should get a pat on the back from the boss. I was in town for

The location is great, just a 10 minute walk to temple square and downtown. The room was clean, though slightly dated decor. Breakfast was a pretty poor selection and the seating area was tiny.

We have been doing a road trip here for over 2 weeks and have stayed in several hotels. We wanted something special for our last night in USA. We booked here as it seemed to offer what we required we were very wrong ! The 2 ice machines were broken, website stated the room would have a fridge..it did not, the swimming pool closed the day before we arrivedit did not state that on the website at our time of booking, paint was falling of the room inside window ledge. Some of the pillow slips were dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty! Within 30 mins of arriving we asked to check out, we got told we would still have to pay for the room! We left anyway ! We stayed at the Plaza where all was good ! Disappointing ending to an otherwise great trip here as we return home to Scotland tomorrow. I have had to reluctantly give 1 star as the review would not post otherwise !

THEY HAVE BED BUGS! I stayed for three days and came home with bites all over my body. There's a difference a pimple and bite just in case someone was going to TRY and act smart. Never going back. IN ADDITION TO THIS when the heater was turned on the entire room smelled completely BURNED. I immediately shut it off. Lastly there was no ice machine in the ice/vending machine room. 😷

North Temple Inn is a favorite when visiting SLC. Rooms are perfect for the cost, they are clean, have comfy beds. Service has always been great, very helpful staff. It is within walking distance of many places.

Location is great. Price was great. Only problem was the rooms were stinky when we got there. Sort of a musky smell. Maybe we got one of the older non-renovated rooms next to the pool. No Microwave anywhere. Breakfast is as minimal as it gets. No Microwave even in breakfast area. The front desk staff were not very courteous. ( I would say more like flat). Will not stay there anymore.

While room was nice and clean and quiet. continental breakfast was NOT continental. No bowls for cereal, no eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit of any kind. Breakfast was served between 6-10am and the slim pickings were meager pickings by the time we arrived to eat at 7:30. If you stay here, plan to have breakfast elsewhere. JB's is four blocks away and around an 7-8 minute walk. Much better food experience.
