While the staff was pleasant, the experience was terrible. I was completely appalled by the state of the hotel. Our first room had a giant crack in the window which had our temperature at 65 degrees on a snowy, cold night. They switched us to a second room (they stated that it was the last room they had) which indeed had another cracked window with just tape over the crack. At that point, we were so exhausted that we just stayed in that room. The others we were traveling with also had to switch rooms due to a clogged toilet and they were told no maintance was there to fix it. When you walked into the rooms, you instantly get hit with the smell of cleaning products. The next morning, our airport shuttle was nearly 30 minutes late! The whole stay was just terrible and the hotel just looked like it had seen better days with uneven wallpaper, doors not opening all the way because they were hitting toilets and more. Plus who charges $12 breakfast in a hotel of that condition!? I highly recommend looking somewhere else before here.
Piles of old furniture out in front of main entrance. Overflowing trash barrel. Arrived late and no parking spots left. Existing spots were filled with junk, debris, and rolls of carpet. Stains on the floor. Rooms smelled awful. Was supposed to have 2 queen beds, but got a loft room with one bed and old pull out sofa, unmade. Staff could barely point me to elevator. No thank you’s or ‘how was your stay?’. Awful - Stay AWAY
There was really nothing wrong with the place. The breakfast spread was really good. I stayed 2 nights in the same week. The second night we got a room that had half the toiletries the first room had. And the building was kinda old. Other than that, good value for money and definitely serves the purpose.
THIS PLACE WILL ONLY STAY IN BUSINESS BECAUSE IT'S BY THE AIRPORTmy opinion of course.
The breakfasts for $12.00 is a joke. It's the standard free continental you can get anywhere else. The scrambled eggs are the yellow powdered mix. The cooks have no clue how to make over easy eggs and we waited 25 minutes for the waitress to tell us there was an "egg incident." Our room was I the 3rd floor and the window wouldn't close. We notified staff in the morning and they said maintenance would fix it. We got back at midnight and it still wasn't fixed. It was snowing while we were there and a huge bubble formed in the ceiling.
Much better than expected. The rooms are clean and the towels are extra thick. They try hard at breakfast and it is pretty good. Breakfast better than comparable hotels.
I stayed only one night, but the experience was great. Friendly staff, nice hotel & comfortable bed. The room was clean and nicely laid out.
Nice rooms and decent food. Other than thatNo water for hours, two days straight. Gave clothes to be laundered but took over 24 hours to get them back. Won't be back and will not recommend to my traveling friends or co-workers.
A little pricey but I think it was worth the stay. Older, 20’s style building with a spiral staircase and all. A little quiet and quaint with thin walls for my taste but the staff was super friendly. We were also there for a rave so it was a tad difficult to keep quiet but no problems. Construction is done so no complaints on that. Right next to airport and 15 minute drive to downtown area with tons of coffee and food places (vegan included!!) overall great state and I highly recommend :)
Rooms were nice, although the bathrooms were tiny and dated. Staff was fantastic. Restaurant was good and very well priced.
Hotel had good decor and style, everything I saw was in good working order. Staff was friendly and courteous. There is a pool, but no hot tub (I was told by the front desk, but did not personally investigate). It closes early though. I tried to get a drink at 10:50 and was unable to. Seems kind of early to be unable to get room service or a beer, but well, so it goes. There are a few restaurants nearby, as well, and it's as easy a drive to the airport as you could ever want. It's literally a 5 minute drive with 2 turns. I'd highly recommend for a layover or very quick stay, because of it's proximity to airport, shuttle to airport, and good service there. If you want nightlife, or to explore the town I'd maybe consider trying another location.
Amenities are nice. Just ticked me off that the open breakfast bar with no posted pricing was, I find out, $13. It has to be on purpose that they don't post pricing, knowing that people assume it's the included continental breakfast (which there is none). But the staff is super nice. So there's that.
WE LOVE THIS HOTEL! My husband and I travel to Utah quite a bit to visit family. We have stayed in many different hotels and this Radisson will be our home away from home while visiting Salt Lake city. The staff is friendly and accommodating, their is a restaurant and bar right on sight, and the beds are very nice.
Absolutely awful. I wish I could post pictures to show just how awful it was. The elevator lobby was flooded with water just falling out the ceiling. I thought they were going to take care of it but come the next morning, the water had just sat and continued to build. Awful customer service with front desk attendants who couldn't get off thheir phone to give my husband time of day. I'm mostly frustrated with how misleading the picture online are. The hotel looks beautiful online but looks like a junkyard in reality. Will never be coming back. Oh and a $12 break feast. And a broken pool (which we were told would be up and running by morning--it was not)
When you first walk in you instantly think it's beautiful. They did have some remodeling going on, which isn't a huge deal until you find out that the pool isn't ready But that's not why it gets a low rating. When you go to any hotel you want to assume that everything is clean. My friends' room had many stains on the comforters, pillow cases, and sheets. The stains on the comforters weren't noticeable when we first got there because it was the part that was tucked in, and the stain on the sheet was covered by the pillowabsolutely disgusting. I know hotels are definitely not the cleanest places, but I will never go back because they obviously don't care about stains all over the beds. And to top it off, breakfast is $12.seriously? Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
I absolutely love this hotel! I've stayed here several times and have had a wonderful experience each and every time! The staff is very nice and accommodating, and I love the room! I always reserve the same room, which is the Suite, king (loft). This rooms setup is super neat. It is very spacious and there is an upstairs room, within the room. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel (and room)! The only thing that could make it better is if they had a breakfast that was included in the cost of the room, like most hotels do. However they do have a restaurant, but unfortunately you have to pay separate cost for the breakfast. But either way I still absolutely love this hotel! And can't wait to stay again!
