Paula/front desk I did/forward emails w my vet records from here.You accuse me of being a liar in public bc you guys almost killed both my dogs by double dosing them and then delete me from the system Too bad i have all the paper trail saved, my report to state board and how weird my current vet in chapel hill deff had faxes from your location w my dogs Info. But on here for your clients to see Paula it's "she didn't really come here." Is that what you told yourself as you stole money off credit cards/abused animals/ripped your employees off with their paychecks? Whatever makes you feel better right?

I would give zero stars if allowed. Unfortunately, I worked at AAC years ago! Worst managed practice I've experienced in 26 years as a veterinarian! Dr. Bullock still owes me approximately $3300 in back pay. When I tried to cash paychecks at her bank, continuous insufficient funds. I had to cash them at check cashing store at 3-5% fee! Other employees had similar situations.

Of course Ms. Vickie Wheeler would post a 5 star rating. She is business partner and cohort to Paula Bullock!!

Veterinarian and owner of Affordable Animal Care on North Pointe Drive, Paula Bullock was charged with two counts of identity theft, one count of financial card fraud, obtaining property by false pretense, forgery and accessing a computer network for fraud over $1,000. Also, Last month, Paula Kay Bullock, along with vet technicians Sonia Velazquez and Daisee Trejo, were all charged with three counts each of abandonment of an animal and of allowing livestock to run at large, according to public records.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I have been bringing my dog to the clinic for about 7 years on and off (we moved away for a period of time). I was initially very pleased with the services they provided. They had done several procedures for us in the past, including heart worm treatments for our rescue dog. However, during our most recent visit, I SPECIFICALLY named the ESSENTIAL vaccines I wanted him to have. Dr. Bullock didn't inform me that she was giving him Influenza and another vaccine. These vaccines are non-essential in NC and the likelihood of a dog getting the flu in our area is very low. I was notified at check out that she had given my dog these extra vaccines without first consulting with me. Of course, I still had to pay for it. Now my dog is sick. It is 6 days later and he is having g trouble catching his breath. He sleeps ALL day. He has no energy. When I took him in for ROUTINE VACCINES on Monday, he was an energetic, happy, healthy dog . I'm pissed that I trusted these people. He has an appointment tomorrow at another Vet. I pray that all is well and that this sickness will pass.

Paula I have the emails and vet records saved from you/ records are from
Your location. I see you responded that you don't have me in your system I responded back 3 months ago when you did- to ask if you wanted me to email you the thread from you?

Also state board required me to send all of my vet records/receipts for the double dose. I had to bring all my papers and proof before they even starting to fill out the complaint- no shock there they knew who you were bc you have a handful of complaints from clients.

And we did come in person and talked to you directly after you double dosed my my dogs. Please stop playing the victim only responding me to on google- it's pretty clear to me you want clients and staff to think you're innocent.

I promise even if you deleted me from your vet system state board would not have accepted my complaint with out the paper trail that went with my very real complaint.

So whenever you want to be an adult Paula and sit and down and read your email thread regusrding that a year ago. I've told you I have all my papers!

Best of luck with the credit card fraud too. Yeah it really seems like you have a selective memory..

Paula is an outstanding veterinarian. She cares deeply about the animals she treats with loving care. She slept with a dear friend's dog to make site he made it through the night. Be wary of the court of public opinion. This is a great place. Sometimes or pets die. I know that when my sweet girl and boys go there they'll be truly cared for and taken care of by this office.

Prices are usually good. But not always sure on their advice or what extra treatments they recommend. But they are a quick, reasonably priced source for your basic vaccines, which is we generally use them for.

These people are extortionists. Our cat got a infection and bladder stones (common in males), we left him there for treatment but wouldn't give us an estimate, came back and got slapped with a bill for $700 after a previous bill of almost $300 for treating the same issue. Almost $1000 to treat a UTI and bladder stones, and if we didn't pay they threatened to take us to court. These people prey on decent folks just trying to care for their animals. My advice, go elsewhere.

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered! I made an appointment to put my baby boy who would have been 10 years old in 1 month down to rest. This was such a hard decision to make since I he had been by my side since he was 6 weeks old. He was seen regularly at Banfield pet hospital in Durham but their price was way more than here, so I made the appointment here. When the doctor came in she said that she was not going to put my dog down for my convenience even after I explained what had happened. I was very upset and had been crying and I found it hard for her to say that to me. This was not at my convenience to put my family member down to rest! His hips were extremely bad and he bit the women who gave him a bath last month. (Who had given him several baths and he was used to). Last week my 8th month old reached out to pet him as she normally would and he almost took her hand. Keep in mind he had been around kids his entire life. The fact that I had to make this decision as I would not trust him being rehomed to bite another individual, was very hard. Needless to say the Dr. said that it is her clinic and I was in the wrong place. She made me feel so small as a human being! My baby boy was my life and for her to also tell me that she could give him medication and drug him up was such an awful solution! I would not want my baby to be on drugs just to get by day to day nor would I want to risk him hurting anyone. He was getting old and his aggressiveness was increasing. Needless to say I went to his regular doctor and we laid him to rest where he will no longer be in pain. I will miss him dearly and I have paid in total 525.00 for a private cremation and his paw print on his urn, with purchasing a cross to wear around my neck with his birthdate and some of his ashes inside it. He will always be my best friend. And to the horrible Dr. at this clinic, I hope that you realize how unprofessional you are! You should not be in this practice!

In my OPINION, the vets nor the "staff" have a clue of what is going on. On one visit I saw 4 different ppl. I was told to hold my animal while blood was taken, I was given a syringe to collect a urine sample off the floor.. I also actually saw a dog being groomed on the way to an exam room, yet came to see a different dog, in the same area I walked into an hour earlier.. looking as if surgery was happening! I wanted to cut my lose & get OUT! I refused to pay $300, when I was told it wouldn't be more than $75 unless I agreed, I did most the work! Imagine my surprise that they summons me to small claims court. EVERYONE on the doc was being pursued by AAC. They sent the groomer to court & attempted to collect the $$ PLUS, 99.9% interest (judge said that was illegal). Needless to say I was happy, this didn't not listen to this place. I went to a professional & my dog was rushed into emergency surgery! She would have died (I feel) had I listened to this "business". I beg you to do your research, if you go in & have a gut feeling. Protect your animal!
This rating is my opinion & how I perceived the situation!
$1500 later, I blessed my bestie made it out ok

With persistence, I have been able to get my dogs in for visits and everything has been fine. During the two years I have been going here, they always seem to be a bit unprofessional with keeping records and scheduling visits. I have scheduled appointments in advance, and then shown up to have the staff tell me they didn't have me on the schedule. I have called and left messages to schedule an appointment during regular hours when they were open, and they did not call me back. I was told at the end of my last appointment that they would put me on the list to call when their radiation specialist would be there - months went by, and I had to find another option since they would not communicate with me. The vets have all been nice, just seems like office staff need a better system to become more professional and organized.

Went in for the first time to update my dog on 3 vaccines. it took 3 different nurses starting and stopping my intake to handle other issues going on. I filled out a form with basic information and was then asked each question anyways- all while trying to contain my very eager dog.
They billed me for an exam which was unnecessary as I had brought my records with previous exam preformed and all the Vet did was administer the vaccines.
At the END of getting all vaccines they let me know that they only accept cash or check. I did not have either on me and had to go to an ATM after transferring money. Very disappointed. Seemed unprofessionally ran, overpriced and I will not be returning.
