My sister-in-law was here and got terrible service. Nobody changed her gown, made sure she was eating meals or cleaned her after using the bed pan. She was raw & bleeding by the time we got her to the rehab, which was highly recommended by the physician, and was ALSO terrible.

Got Cardiac stents, busy but efficient, was surprised that they still had 2 patient rooms, I never understood how a hospital can be hipaa compliant when you hear every detail of the person next to you's personal medical history and care. Was told by a nurse they had a shortage of pain medication because of shipping issues, seems like something you would have plenty of in a hospital unless it's 1952 in a MASH unit on tv.

Christ Central scheduling is the worst. Go to Good Samaritan for 5 star rating. Don't believe me call them, don't worry they won't answer the phone. And when they do they have so many protocol's that they don't care about the human experience. Might as well just go in to the hospital, because this calling scheduling is worse than any customer service program I have seen, and yes Comcast, ATT is 10x better. I have tried to schedule Cardiac Rehab and well, why even try I have called 3 times and still don't have what they need.

I didn't really see a sense of urgency in the emergency room. Took a half hour just to get X-ray resultsmost people were friendly enough, just slow
The girl working the valet didn't give me a ticket for my keys.
Oh, and when I️ went to get my biopsy, while the staff was quick and friendly, no one warned me about the $1000 bill I’d be stuck with. That’s after my insurance. Other places can look this stuff up and care enough about their patients to tell them in advance. Not here.
Such a bad taste in my mouth after every interaction with these folks. I️ used to have 2 stars, but had to put it down to 1.response / report this review -

This is hospital is not what I expected I was having high hopes that they take good care of patients but no is not good ICU may be good but general floor is not in hard moments they get all confused, doctors don’t take the time to talk about patients plan of care.

I love Advocate Christ Hospital. I have only recently had a problemfirst time ever! Trying to schedule an appointment through the Adult Medicine Dept and cannot get through. Been trying for 4 days. I get the recording, but no one answers. I've let the phone ring for 3 min, for 7 min, for 12 min and again today, for 8 min. I'll gladly accept a job answering phones, if you're short staffed, as apparently, you are.

Delivered my first baby there. Very impressed with every staff member. Knowledgeable, caring, friendly, helpful, clean, patient, and more. Whether it was the nurse, tech, doctor, or resident, I knew everyone had my child and myself held at top priority. Both charge nurses from each floor checked in with me to see if I was okay and if I needed anything. Information specialists were extremely accessible from birth certificate info, social work, lactation specialists (loved Noreen), pictures, chaplain info for baptism, and more. The only area that needs work is the cafeteria/food accessibility. I can't hold that against the amazing care I received, though. Maybe the hospital managers will rethink cafeteria hours/room service/ etc. thank you.

This is by far the best hospital I ever been to me and my son's primary doctor is here and i love our doctors every one is so nice here. Not to mention in the emergency room they actually care about their patients you're in and out of there unless it's the weekend but that's understandable most of the time when these is really bad accidents they get sent to this hospital because this happens to one of the 10 hospitals in the area. I really recommend this hospital

If you convert the ICU step-down into a regular unit, be cognizant of the fact that there are no toilets! Remove the cameras! If a patient isn't incapacitated & mobile they shouldn't be in these rooms. Obviously that wasn't something the board members or administration thought about. Very uncomfortable. Valet brought my car back with a flat tire, which I obviously couldn't have driven to the hospital with, and wouldn't take responsibility for it. On top of that, the food is disgusting! Thankfully they have a great cafeteria that's open most of the day & late at night. You can also order food & snacks from the gift shop

TERRIBLE. Do not go here unless you're a block away dying. Otherwise you will be waiting in a random hallway for hours and hours. Came in for pregnancy concerns and waited literally 6hours just to get spoken to by a doctor. Over the course of those long hours waiting, nobody ever came up and asked if everything is ok, do we need anything, things like that. Nope just have a seat and somebody will talk to you later. Asking for help gets you nowhere either. You don't get taken seriously unless you're seriously ill or injured. Just curious why this billion dollar hospital doesn't make it a priority to transition guests in and out effectively. You would think they would be capable of handling the patient load, but no. Oh they have a really nice state of the art conference center though so that makes my experience better, right. This place is a joke

I'm on my way home from Christ Hospital and let me tell you, I've had the best experience I have ever had as a patient in any hospital ever! I have been a patient at their MFM clinic for months and have always had the best experience with the best doctors and staff. I came in Thursday 3/9/16 to my appointment and was admitted. I spent the last 2 days here and absolutely everyone, and i mean everyone was very considerate and extremely respectful! From the cleaners to the doctors, everyone needs recognition in the labor and delivery department! What a phenomenal staff! You all work extremely well together! God bless you all!

Took my girl to labor and delivery department at around 5:20 pm and it was horrible. 1) the building was filthy throughout. 2) the beds for that department are small hardly any room to move around, very uncomfortable for pregnant woman that have to lay on the bed for hours. 3) the nurse that was on that shift at 5:30 pm was extremely unprofessional and very under educated she stuck my girl once then started to swerve it around while the needle was inside (very dangerous) she stuck it a 2nd time still no success finally my girl was done. They sent in a second nurse who did a great job in finding the vein the first try.
4) the discharged my girl after having contractions by letting her WALK all the way to the main entrance of the building. That's a big no no. I WILL NEVER BRING MY GIRL HERE AGAIN EVER!!! NOR RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE HOSPITAL TO FRIENDS OR FAMILY.

I've recently been to Advocate Christ Hospital's ER and Diagnostic Imaging Center and have been incredibly impressed with both experiences! I hurt my back and am in a lot of pain and they made me feel cared for and comfortable. The doctors are kind, caring and I felt as if I mattered. I've been to another local hospital in this area and never received the care there that I did at Christ. Everyone I came into contact with from the front desk hostess to the X Ray techs in the diagnostic center were wonderful, caring, went out of their way to help and make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Advocate Christ Hospital and am glad my insurance covers these world class doctors!
