Worst experience I have ever had!!!! Good was horrible..service was even worsewe had to get our own drinks bc the server never did! Then they only comp'd 50% of the billeven though we sent all our food back! Both my daughter and myself only are 3 or 4 bites and we have been sick every since we left! I will NEVER be back!
It used to be great, but it has really gone down hill and fast! We love the con queso dip. Last time we went, our order was speckled with iceburg lettuce. It's not meant to have shredded lettuce melted into it. You could tell it was the result of a sloppy kitchen and the soggy lettuce just left a bad taste in my mouth. While there, they got the order of the table behind us wrong 3 times. And while the waitress was kind and understanding about it all, she was so busy correcting what the kitchen got wrong that she never refilled drinks or came to check on us until we wanted our bill. We probably won't be back any time soon as a result and that's a real shame because we used to love it!
Not a fan and would not go back. Had the Crisp Mexican Beef Tacos and it was like they bought a taco kit from the grocery store and charged $10 for three tacos. The meat was more of a paste then crumbly ground beef. Rice tasted like it was premade or came out of a box. Such a disappointment for a restaurant that claims to serve authentic Mexican Food.
Staff were friendly enough, but the food is bland and about as Americanized as you can get. I've also gotten very sick to my stomach on both occasions. Other than their convenient location, not at all a good choice.
This is the place locals eat in downtown Indianapolis area. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This is my place for breakfast. Best price in the area. Food is always great. Forty years I have been eating here. For those that drink the bar is open 7AM to close.
Fast, large serving sizes, and tasty with all the spice you can handle. In my case the amount is small, but my dad prefers his tongue with second degree burns. Acapulco can cater to both our tastes!
I'm a huge fan of the chips and sauce. It's not salsa so don't get it twisted. I keep it simple with the tacos but none of their meals disappoint me. The service is hit or miss but never bothered me too much. Don't come here in a hurry.
Best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. They have multiple salsas at the table and great prices with not so much grease running off their plates like most places. Awesome location downtown indy with great service!
Chicken Fiesta was fine, but by no means delicious. Not a big fan of the sweet salsa, & definitely didn't know what to do with the watery pepper sauce. Called in order for takeout, the guy who answered the phone could use some customer service training, as well as the hostess. However, the lady who brought the food out was a gem-excellent guest service.
Last time I was here a year ago this place was great. Today service was terrible and food was cold. Bad experience.
Huge portions and very filling! The food here is pretty bomb. My favorite thing might be the carryout margaritas! The liquor here is inexpensive and dinner won't come close to breaking the bank. One of my go-to spots. Outdoor seating is a huge plus!
The food is fantastic! Wonderfully seasoned and very good. The burrito with the chili sauce and cheese sauce is the best! Will leave you feeling full every time- good amount of food for the money. I definitely recommend Acapulco Joe's and will be going back every chance I get!
The Sauce in the squirt bottle is the best. I'm positive I could live off of it and do sometimes. It cures what ails you. The other food is great as well. Tuesday is $2 tacos hard or soft. The trick is 1 soft taco is the size of about 2 hard tacos and the same price. You're welcome for that one. Go there. Just leave room for me.
