Ordered our meal for my birthday celebration. They waited a 1/2 hour to come to our table and say that they were sorry, but they had just sold the last slice of prime rib so what did I want instead?? Really?? A half hour went by before you bothered to tell me that you ran out of food? What a waste of time, energy, gas and a disappointing celebration!

I'm sad to say that the food quality of Carson's has diminished greatly.
Today we went for Brunch and everyone was greatly disappointed.
A garden omelette with hash browns had only three vegetables and the hash browns were soggy and undercooked.
The Rueben was over salted and fatty, with chunks of meat, instead of thinly sliced shavings.
The prime rib and eggs was an insult to prime rib. The meat was dry and tough with huge chunks of fat webbed thru and absolutely no flavor. I actually sent it back. I had ordered the eggs scrambled with cheese and I received them overheard with a slice of processed cheese thrown on top.
And the bloody Mary bar was disappointing. The bloody Mary Mix (mild) was just tomatoes juice. Ingredients were not stocked and the ones that were definitely were days old. Not a great idea for shrimp.
Our initial server, Stefi, was quick and personable but was replaced by Jon. I believe he was new and while he was very, very sweet and tended to all our needs, the whole brunch took almost 1.5hrs from start to finish.response / report this review -

Had a great Anniversary dinner tonight the waiter suggested the brussel sprouts they were awesome and had a great Prime Rib cooked perfectly. Great job I will be back soon.

I always order the prime rib. My daughter in law ordered the pot roast and it was wonderful too. The salads are large and very fresh ..even the side salad is large. They bring bread and it is delicious. The srunjs are innovative and delicious. Brunch is great, and they have chicken and waffles as well as other choices; order off the menu, and bottomless mimosas. We went for dinner on my birthday. They gave us a big discount and brought me a piece of the best cheesecake I ever had.

Bloody Mary Bar a bit over rated. Food is good, not great. Service is good and attentive but we were the only people in the restaurant so.

The food quality was decent to pretty good. If you choose to eat here I hope you like blue cheese because it is incorporated into most dishes (even the cole slaw). I went with a large group of 10 and the majority of the party enjoyed their food. The biggest problem was with the service. The waiter started out friendly and then became very cold during our meal. When the check came he put everything on one bill and then avoided us. I had to flag him down and ask for the bill to be split. When I got my bill I was shocked to see that two "rum and cokes" (with Barcadi) cost over $21.00. Two drinks cost me more than my meal. To review: good place to eat, but get drinks some where else.

The service was impeccable. The service we received was that of a five star restaurant. If I were to get the same server I would go there more often. It was top notch!

Stopped in for the first time for a dinner meeting. I have to say our waiter was great. He understood my crazy food allergies and worked with me so that was nice. Nice atmosphere and everyone was great.

Our server Kraig was amazing! Very polite, knows exactly when to come to the table, has a pleasant voice (you can tell he is sincere) and very knowledgeable about the company and the menu.
The food was better than I expected. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and the lobster/shrimp appetizer which is a must try!

I love that there is a "finer" dining option in north Ann Arbor. Part of Main Street Ventures, Carson's delivers American cuisine with a fancy twist. You can't go wrong with their menu, and they are reasonably priced. The service is phenomenal, and the ambiance is perfect for a date, meeting, or a casual night out with friends. Cozy and dim, I've never felt out of place when dressed up or wearing sweats. I highly recommend the corn chowder and bison burger!
