Getting in and grabbing food was ok, movie sound and projection were also good (2D with Dolby Atmos). My gripe is that the seats looked like they were from the 90's with how much wear was on the armrest and seat. For the $20 I paid for each ticket I expected something a little nicer than the loose, uncomfortable chairs we had.
The Theatre is nice and good sound and quality. I guess that's why the high prices for food and tickets. But you do gey what you pay for.
Great sound, great screen, great food selection, but the chairs are uncomfortable.
There are pros and cons to this theater. Pros: large, clean, good variety of movies, great selection at the snack bar. Cons: some of the theaters have multiple levels of pricing ranging from normal to exorbitant. What's the difference? I don't know but it's very confusing . With one you get a free small popcorn . Not worth it. With another you can order food from your seat. But the seats weren't designed for that. Another con is that the seats are old and many are uncomfortable. And this is the only theater I know that offers "discount" tickets for almost $11 each.
It's a huge nice theatre. I love the food selection and the drinks. The theatres are nig, and they have nice seats
Nice movie theater I liked the collection of science fiction movie related modes in display I seen the remake of the movie IT with my girlfriend. Concession food and beverages are expensive. You have to choose your seats, I don't know why. Overall a nice place.
OMG. Worst experience ever. Not sure his name but blonde haired guy about 25 told me I couldn't see a movie cause I threw my ticket in trash and instead of making a scenr I left. I hope I hear from these folks cause I come to movie once a week but this will be my last if I don't get reimburded
Overall a great experience but the audio quality was not as crisp as could be expected
We had a great time at the movies. Family friendly with booster seats and snack packs made just for kids. Very nice.
Watched Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2, cinema was good size but the chairs are not at all comfortable.
I really want to try eating here. My friends didn't want to cuz I thought the food was going to suck but the menu looks really really good. And they have cool seats that move in vibrate but unfortunately we weren't in a movie that supported that. I love what AMC is doing for movie theaters though it's making them fun to go again. They have a balcony here in which I want to try, they have cool 3D and moving seats which I want to try, they've got an awesome menu which I want to try. It's nice to have something that you're excited about that you think to yourself I want to try these things! AMC is making movie going fun again
We wanted to see The Lost City of Z, and it wasn't playing at our local theatre - Studio Movie Grill. We were intrigued Thousand Oaks had a "dine-in" theatre experience and were disappointed it was far from it. It's unfair to compare venues, but we've become accustomed to the full service treatment. Having to order your food and drink upstairs, wait for it and bring it back in take-out form down to your theatre was far from fun and even less exciting to find there were no table trays to use. We ended up balancing our containers on our laps and leaving our seats to get refills during the show. The theatre staff were exceptional, but the overall experience was enough to keep us away in the future.
