Theatres are little outdated. But if you support the independent business this is a place to go. They have the best popcorns. Beats AMC, Regal, Pacific, Edwards, and other Laemmle theatre locations; these guys know how to make some awesome popcorn.

Comfortable rocking leather seats, moderately priced concession stand, clean sound and sharp projection makes this a good place to watch a movie. Friendly, well trained staff. Free underground parking. Everything is wheelchair accessible including bathrooms. There are elevators and lifts where needed.

Rude customers, friendly staff. People tend to talk when I am watching the movie. Told the staff and they took care of it very professionally.

I love Laemmle. As low key as they come. But good shopping area. Great film options. Reasonably priced.

I am very grateful for this theater, which is the only place left in the San Fernando Valley to watch independent, non-commercial films. Lets all go here as much as possible so we can keep independent theaters alive. So sorry we lost the Laemmle on Fallbrook!

My favorite movie theatre in the valley. The best selection of foreign and indie films, really fun and friendly staff and excellent popcorn.

A great movie theatre that shows indie-level movies at good prices. If you're looking for a theatre that shows indie films, this is the place to come. The only thing this theatre could use is a refreshment to it - it smells weird inside and old.

Older style movie theater, but they show great films not at other theaters.

I've been to this theater more times than I can count but I guess it had been a while because I don't remember when they changed the seats over to the reclining leather lounge chairs. Nonetheless, during my last visit, I was super comfy laying back watching the movie! It seems like, overall, there are less seats in the theaters but each person has way more space to stretch out.
The popcorn is hot and the people behind the counters are quick and pretty friendly.
The theaters here are kept very clean and so are the bathrooms.
This location has many great places to dine close by from fast casual like Bruxie and elbows, or a sit down like Cha Chas and Taps fish house, this theater makes for a great date night. Great place to to watch latest flicks! Check it!

Love this theater! It is so special to be able to go to a theater with such history. It's also great that they offer $5 admission on Tuesdays and free popcorn on Wednesdays. I included this theater in my video about the top things to do in Encino that you might find interesting.
