WORST THEATER IN ASHEVILLE!!!
Basic, uncomfortable seating. Dirty screens. Poor sound quality. The building itself is very rundown. Nothing was clean. Poor service from unprofessional staff who spends too much time gossiping with each other and not enough time with the customers. To make it worse, they charge the same price as the other, MUCH BETTER, local theaters!!! There was one good thing about my visit hereit was leaving.
Currently sitting in a movie, that i had to ask to start because we were sitting for 15 minutes just staring at a blank screen. When i went to ask it seemed like i was bothering their hangout time in the lobby and after some looks i got from the other employees one girl said she would turn it on. Well it’s now on but i’m loving having to watch the movie with the lights up. Didn’t know giving them business was such as hassle for them to do their job while they are on the clock.
Very run down, but the worst part was the dirty screen. Anytime there was any white you could see all the thick dust and it ruins being immersed in the movie.
I had a great experience, staff were really friendly and I found it really clean as well for a theater.
Not sure what all the lazy and fat people were complaining about having to fill their own drinks!? Just can't make those kind of people happy, so just laugh at them with me lol
Movie screen in theatre 8 had multiple flaws that interfered with the enjoyment of the movie. Choice of treats was very small and expensive. Theatre was clean and the staff of one was nice.
Saw the movie Sing there. The theatre is a little dated, BUT the customer service from the manager was the BEST! Will definitely go there again.
Great movie theature!!! Awesome prices. And best movies in town.
What a %#*! Hole of a theatre. Popcorn and trash all over the lobby. Sticky floors, dirty carpet, zero staff. The people that are there have bad attitudes. The fact that they can get away with charging 10 dollars makes me angry at the people of Asheville. Rise up! You're better than this! You don't have to be treated like garbage by morons!
It's an older theater but not run down, no stadium seating. Our favorite part is they let you butter your own popcorn and have the drink machines with a million choices, also self serve
Everything is self serve just about. They give you your cup and you fill your soda - the good part is they have those fancy coke select and flavor machines. They give you your popcorn, but if you want butter you cross the room to a dispenser and put it on yourself. So basically you can only flavor the top portion of popcorn with the butter as there is little to no room to toss and rotate you popcorn for even distribution.
Usually we go to this theater and we have a good time. However on this windy December day at 10:30 a.m. My husband and I, along with two different groups of people were told to stand outside in the cold because it was "too early" when the day before my husband and his mother came at this exact same time to see a movie the day before. A mother and her three children walked in to the unlocked facility and were told to turn around and wait outside. They then asked when they open and proceeded to tell them that "they didn't know" I understand if we were a few minutes early but to keep people standing outside in the freezing cold wind in DECEMBER is pretty rude. None of us would have cared if we would have had to wait inside until they were open to get our tickets. Unfortunately we had already bought ours online and have no choice but to buy our tickets here. The indecency of these employees is ridiculous.
UPDATE: To make our experience even better the movie messed up and we sat here in the dark for 10 minutes without any explanation. It took someone to go out and find someone to get them to notice that their movie was messed up. Then for them to come in and say "Yeah it's not working, sorry" and leave. Seriously this place is a joke and the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
