This place isn't easy to grade and I would say it is a 3.5/5.
It is a very tiny place in Culver City that is more about drinks but also serves solid food. I was able to find seats at the bar but walk-in for a table isn't recommended. The bartender was very nice and she knew her job very well. Food was good but not great. Price is a little steep for the quality though.
I found this place because of YouTube and decided to try it out for my birthday brunch. The location and parking was really easy to find, and they have a beautiful set-up outside which is where we were seated because of our large party. However, there are no sun awnings or umbrellas outside and the sun was beating down on us so hard, we had to ask to move several times. It was really uncomfortable to eat out there, but the food was great! The prices for the bottomless mimosas and pancakes are really great; even though I could only eat two orders of pancakes. They come two at a time and have cool combination of flavors. My favorite was the banana mac nut and I usually hate banana flavored things. I recommend the “grindz” menu over the pancakes though. Their food is really unique and gets you to try something you’ve never thought to before. The staff was really nice and accommodating, and the vibe of the whole place is very mellow.
Very small portion sizes and weak drinks on non-all-you-can-eat nights. $21 for a poorly seasoned piece of fish that was roughly 2"x6". Ribs were very tough and everything in general tasted lackluster and did not justify the price.
Fantastic! Great food first of all! Something for everyone but definitely the best deal is the all you can drink. The drinks are good, not watered down. The palaces are bomb along with everything else. Definitely go with a group. Reservations help.
Not a bad place at all. I went for the all you can eat pancakes and drinks. Pancakes were pretty good. Love the different toppings. The drinks were pretty weak and the wait time was pretty crazy. We were told 45 mins. Took about 1.5 hours.
Came here for the all you can eat pancakes brunch on the weekend. Biggest gripe I would have is that you are served two pancakes at a time, but when you order the special flavor pancakes, there's only enough toppings for one. So you're stuck with a plain pancake always. The pancakes by themselves are decent, as is the fried chicken. But I'm not sure if I'm fully sold on this place for this novelty. They need to offer more.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. Hawaiian fusion flare gives the food great flavors. Their cocktail list is also spectacular. Good food, great drinks, and friendly service makes this place great
Sorry. I wish i had a better picture to post, but we ate everything so fast!! Bar none, best restaurant on the West Side. Artisinal drinks and food. Best appetizers.. everything here is mouth watering good. My friend got the crackling chicken which is basically like a basted chicken plate with rice and sides together on one large plate. And the pasta appetizer and burgers are incredible.
The pancakes and breakfast were delicious, they make you feel like if you're on the back yard of your grandma's house Decoration and shape of the restaurant it's amazing..
A-Frame is the best. I have a shop down the street from them and have been using them for many years. The staff is always knowledgeable and extremely helpful The selection of frames surpasses anything I have seen. There prices are reasonable. You would be making a huge mistake not to use them.
I loved the design and the decor. Music was a plus, but way too loud for a Sunday morning. Might not be fun if you're nursing a hangover so be warned. The plus is the all you can eat pancakes. I loved the different flavors options - the ones I tried were just toppings, though. Seems that was the convenient way to go. Lilikoi was my favorite. Service was great, and staff were friendly. I'm Hawaiian so I'm use to the traditional style, but I respect the twists. Worth another visit to try something else.
Great food, and a even greater brunch specials. All you can drink mimosas/Bloody Marys/Dos Equis Cocktails bundled together for $15 is awesome. All you can eat pancakes with chicken isn't bad either.
Sorry. I wish i had a better picture to post, but we ate everything so fast!! Bar none, best restaurant on the West Side. Artisinal drinks, and food made with wild - caught fish. Now, honestly. I like farmed fish. It does not taste as good, but biological diversity is more important to me than what goes into my belly. But seriously.. everything here is mouth watering good.
