My husband travels several hours just to get great deals
Just visited store. Great staff, very helpful. Very peofessional. Highly recommend.
This place is great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service Dept is awesome. Best 4x4 Shop in Charlotte.
This place sucks, the talked me into selling back my rough country lift because a pro comp lift would ride better, so I did and the lift rides horrible , every bump I hit my head almost goes through the roof. I also have taken it back twice for them to fix something and both times they say nothing is wrong and can’t fix the problem. Every corner I go around my traction control light comes on and shakes the wheel but they said they can fix it, and a noise coming back from my front right suspension when I turn left and go over a bump and they can’t fix that either which they should be able to since they put it on. DONT GO HERE PLACE SUCKS!
The guys at 4 Wheel Parts are great, I have been offroading my whole life and these guys are friendly like you just met them on the trail. Nice place, knowledgeable staff.
Called trying to get some figures together for my build. Didn't shed any light on anything. Rimz One in Moresville was much more helpful.
Went in for an alignment and they kept trying to sell me on caster bolts. I purchased the AEV Geo Brackets to avoid having to use caster bolts as they are terrible. They did the alignment so they say, but when I go and pick up my Jeep they don't have my alignment sheet so I can see how things look. I told them I am not paying unless I get that print out. Next thing I know they take my Jeep back in the shop and 10 min later come back with a printout. I look it ovet and of course they nevet touched the front because I refused the caster bolts. I paid, left and brought it to another shop. Explained to then what happened and they laughed, and informed me I was correct in NOT needing caster bolts since I had the brackets. Needless to say I will not be going back to 4 Wheel Parts for anything.
My Jeep is a 16 JKU Rubicon with the Mopar 2" lift.
100% my fault for arriving 2 mins after closing, but I was very adamant on the phone and even Facebook messenger that I would be leaving work from Huntersville and getting to the store around closing. I have an EXTREMELY busy schedule that requires weekly travel and was able to set aside abnormal free time to complete an upgrade on my truck. Upon arriving 2 mins late to purchase an air intake kit and walk out, the manager greeted me at the door voicing there was nothing he could do. I explained my drive and schedule, he didn't value my time at all. He continually kept saying I could pick it up tomorrow or he could ship it to me. Did you not just listen to what I said, "I travel". The manager didn't help the situation he just made it worse. We'll you've lost another sale to an online retailer! Good luck continuing to offer a brick and mortar with terrible customer experiences.
I'm new to the Jeep world. This is the biggest offroad "store" around my area. Even though this place was over an hour from where I live, it was worth the drive. The sales person I talked to (Jeff Wright) was very patient as I asked him 100 questions WebKit everything Jeep.
The prices aren't HIGH, but they aren't cheap either. I will say, everything they have is quality name brand stuff. They warranty everything they sell. For the items I need too rely on, I will be buying from them.
As always the guys at four wheel parts were very patient and helpful in tracking down the problem with my Jeep. It's the only place I go for mechanical and parts
Went there for a quote and to order what I needed. The person who was assisting me didn't really seem to care or be informative when I asked questions. I received an incomplete rough estimate that was significantly higher than other places. I could have done that on my own and saved my time.
First thing we noticed was when we were still in the parking lot of four wheel parts. I opened the door and saw the accessories panel, that has all the switches for the lights, open with all the wires showing
It seemed simple enough at first. Just pop it back in. That didn't work. Next, the drive home to Greenville SC. This is not my first jeep or first lift. I know how it should ride and drive. I've purchased complete lifts, bumpers, winches ect from the Norcross store and Charlotte. I've always installed them myself. This is the first time I've had four wheel parts do the build. The drive back was noticeably very loose and pulling to the right. I thought maybe it wasn't aligned. I took it to a local shop that informed me that the lift I thought I purchased was not the one that was on the jeep. It, in fact, was the cheapest Rubicon Express lift with shocks and critical parts were removed that shouldn't have been. Yes, I know they're cheaper ones, but let's move on. While inspecting the snorkel, I noticed that the bumper was loose. After looking underneath, I quickly found out why. Bolts were only started. Never even finger tight. They missed at least two clips attaching it back to the body. The fog lights, or driving lights, if you will, are not even tight. One is pointing up, the other down. On inspection of this, I found the screws were not tight. The only way to fix this, is to pull the bumper off. The procomp HID lights mounted on the bumper, one has moisture on the inside. How? This is supposed to be a sealed light. The $800 LED headlights, that I was told do not need the antiflicker harness, actually do. All it took was a quick check on their website. It clearly states, any jeep 2013+ needs the harness. Was it put on my jeep? No. I was stopped by the police. The remote plug that plugs into the winch came apart the first time I used it. Yes, I know how to use it, this is not my first Smittybuilt winch. Send me a new one. I was told that the headlights were adjusted for the lift. After all this, how would I know? The right front side of the jeep is lower. About an inch. Bringing this to the attention of Dillion, he informed us that's because of the gas tank is on that side and that's the way jeeps are. Really? Most lift kits for jks come with a left and right front spring. The right one preloaded stronger for the tank. I think the installer put them in backwards. If that's not the problem, then what is? It's not the gas tank. We spent 14,000 dollars on this build. Something needs to be done. I've already ordered another lift and scheduled to be installed next week, at a cost of 2500 dollars. Four wheel parts needs to make some sort of restitution. This email is the first attempt in giving four wheel parts a chance to do the right thing. That doesn't include me driving back to Charlotte to have four wheel parts fix things that should have been done correctly the first time. I have no confidence in anyone there touching my jeep again. I would like this forwarded to higher management. I came to you for this build because I've never had a problem with any store or staff. That being said, I think when someone orders parts and told the parts will be in in a week, they should inform the buyer that the build date is two weeks after that. Then we could schedule the build when ordering parts, not after the parts arrive and I don't even get a call that they have arrived. I had to call the store. Someone needs to be held accountable. Period.
Indoor lobby is extremely nice with all the parts that you want scattered throughout the store making it look great and enticing. Their service was great. Originally tried to go to another 4x4 store and told them my issues and they kind of just brushed me off. This place took care of me and helped me with my issues. I will be coming here in the future. Good store
