Fantastic certified Neapolitan pizza including seasonal specials, and a great wine and beer list. The appetizers are always great as well! Fast service.

The best pizza I have ever had in the US! They can get a little business, but have a really nice atmosphere. They also have bar seating in the back and offer tasty, unique small plates.

It seems like a nice family friendly place. We chose this place as it has a good rating and near our hotel. The stuffed pizza turned out just so so. The fillings are too runny, not much taste. My kids got the 2 Amy’s and liked them better.

Good food, appetizers seem better than the pizza itself. Drinks are good but would like to see a stronger cocktail game. Wine selection seems good at first but in reality is a bit boring. Overall very good though and recommended.

I loved to feel the General atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The food was fine. Our server added two extra chairs to one of the big round tables so we could sit and enjoy the nice weather.

Admittedly we came in on a busy Sunday night and the food, when it came, was indeed incredibly tasty. However, sadly my first 4-star review. As the shuffling and bustling crowd suddenly cleared out after 7:00pm, the wait service seemed to somehow still be unnecessarily slow and disorganized despite their coordinated leaping and scurrying up and down and around. They certainly moved folks through the place on the double, patience for which unfortunately was not rewarded by high prices and small portions. Guess this is the standard for DC? $50.00 for two for what we could honestly have gotten at Punch pizza for 1/2 of the price? I don't usually mind spending to experience something new, but here I was disappointed to find that the whole enterprise didn't quite live up to the raving reviews we had read beforehand. Our waiter somehow seemed to think he could sense this dissonance and in suggesting we try the seasonal raspberry dessert literally "in the likely event you won't come back," probably fulfilled it. It was totally in the realm of the most delicious dessert ever, but really?

Really enjoyed the small plates and they have an amazing wine list, most of which are by the glass. The pizza was pretty good as well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Great place to go with friends.

2 Amys is a wonderful Pizza Parlor that I love visiting. Many Washingtonians will attest to this restaurant being the best Pizza Place in all of D.C. And I couldn't agree more. The insiders great as well as the Pizza but what makes it spectacular is the topping selection. Customization is key to pizzas and the variety available here is absolutely stunning. Personally I love adding xtra cheese, banana peppers, basil, pepperoni, and olives. But whether you want to try them all or are here just for the cheese, 2 Amys is the place to go when you're craving pizza in D.C. Not to mention the location is great as it is near plenty of parking as well as the National Cathedral and the Washington Ballet.

As someone who eats pizza once a week, this is the best I've ever had. Ever. Not even exaggerating. The service has never been really attentive, but I don't even care because the pizzas are so good. Very affordable too, especially for D.C.

Nice atmosphere, sub par food.. $160 for group of four that had Bruchetta served on "Toast" , 4 individual pizza's that were relatively tasteless, a $44 bottle of average wine and a cannoli with "grapfruit" filling that had to be sent back. The same yuppies that wait in line for a $1.95 think this is a great place.most of which have never been to Italy to know the difference between this pizza and something good.

Probably one of my favorite places! Delicious pizza and great atmosphere. However they don't take reservations and it becomes insanely busy on Friday & Saturday nights.
Also check out their brunch on Saturday & Sunday mornings. Very simple fair (baked goods & coffee) but delicious and very cheap.response / report this review -

6 years ago, I used to love two Amy's. Was very low key and while moderately pricy the pizza was so good it was worth it. it seems the more affluent have taken over the clientele and unfortunately this carries over to the service and food. At a recent visit the service was slow and the pizza was burnt, the prices had also gone up. There are also just better pizza places in town now for better prices.
