Fields is amazing and their service is spot on. Richard went out of his way to help me get a few items covered under warranty that were on the border. Great team, they treat you like family and I would highly recommend Fields Auto Group!
Everything about BMW Winter Parks was amazing! Tim Hanna is the greatest car salesman ever! There was no pressure . He was very patient. I test drove a lot of cars and had umpteen questions before I chose mine. He worked with me to find the best deal possible. My local BMW did not even make an attempt to match that offer! A week after the sale I called him with with questions abut the contract. He was very prompt and patient answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I think that just speaks volumes about Tim and fields BMW! I might have almost enjoyed my car buying experience!
Great guys. Sales - Finance - Everyone was stellar. I felt like they were there to make my experience as comfortable as possible. Really - really enjoyed it. I will be a lifetime customer of this group. Great job guys, great team synergy!
I have been a client of Michael Abney, the service manager we have had since moving to Florida four years ago. He had kept my 2003 year model BMW 5 series in excellent operating condition that we had for 14 and 1/2 years and 170,000 miles. The service he provided has been outstanding. My wife had felt the safest in that car than in any other in her 45 years of driving
The car needed its annual repair and my wife wanted a car that sat her up higher off the road and would last for another 15 years. Mike introduced my wife and myself to Stephen Fisher who was able to guide us to an X1. We initially thought about a X3 or X5 but after listening to us for about 15 minutes Stephen had us look at a X1. We test drove the X1 and X3 and were sold on the quality and handling of the X1. After to sale Stephen spent time with us showing the many buttons and gadgets on the car. Many new tech buttons than on a 14 year old car.
Thank you Sue and Bob
I have never been treated as poorly as I was at Fields BMW in Winter Park. I actually finally created a Google account, so I could leave a review of my most recent experience.
I was made to believe that my vehicle purchase qualified me for courtesy car washes, but that was clearly a lie. I pulled into the dealership, and I quickly informed the first person I saw in a Fields polo that I was there to receive my first courtesy car wash. This employee directed me to the back area where the wash entrance is located, and I was then greeted by a salesman in a tie. I let him know that it was my first time back to the dealership for the courtesy car wash, and he told me to pull to the side, and they would set me up with a "sticker" for the car wash. I patiently waited in my car, and I was then greeted by a third man in a bright blue polo. After reaching through my window and placing his hands on the interior of my car, he proceeded to inform me that the car wash had closed at 3:00PM. As you could imagine, I was quite confused after being directed to the back and then being told to wait outside the car wash. To avoid further conflict with the person that felt comfortable enough to reach through my window, I drove back to the front of the dealership. I then saw another salesman, so I decided to ask him why I could not get a car wash, and he informed me that the car wash had closed at 4:00PM (not 3:00PM). At this point, I was beyond confused and annoyed, so I left the dealership.
The courtesy car wash is advertised on the service page within the Fields BMW website, and the service center has hours posted until 6:00PM, so it is reasonable to assume that the car wash would follow those general hours. Also, when I called the dealership after my car purchase to find out more about the courtesy car wash, I was led to believe that it operated during standard business hours. It is unbelievable that I could come in contact with so many people in this one trip to the dealership, and none of them were able to assist an existing customer.
As I finish this review, I still do not know if the car wash closes at 3:00PM or 4:00PM, but it is unlikely to ever impact my life again. I did learn one thing on my venture to Fields BMW Winter Park, and that is the fact that I will never purchase another vehicle through a Fields dealership, and they have lost all future recommendations.
I have no issues with the sales process and Reggie Rodwell in sales is as laid back and easy to get along with as any car salesman I've ever dealt with. My problem is and continues to be with the service department. Each time, I bring my vehicle in for service they always seem to damage it. This isn't a single isolated incident. This is multiple times over multiple vehicles. Some of the damage includes scratches to the door sill from removing seats to address an AC issue, damaged rim while replacing tires, dent on the lower portion of a brand new ///M vehicle from the technician kicking the lift towards the car without proper clearance and now a dent and scratch on the rear bumper from a battery replacement. The service department is too busy and the techs are all flat rate. The faster they can get the work done the more they get paid. There is no incentive for quality work or taking precautions to prevent damage to the vehicle. If you do bring your car for service here, make sure you do a thorough inspection both before and after the service. If any damage is done to your vehicle, there will be no mention of it to you. It is up to you to find it and bring it to their attention. After this latest damage, I will be finding a new dealership to service my vehicles.
Unprofessional and unreliable salesman.
Went there last week and looked at a BMW X3.
A.F. was the salesman helped me.
I got a quote with online price plus tax and all fees, then I left the dealership to look at other dealers' inventories.
I emailed A.F. the next day with an out-the-door price that if he can do it, I will pick up the car in 3 days.
Also, he was aware that I live 150 miles away and I'll be able to pick up the car if I can get the car with the out the door price I mentioned in the email.
He responded by email and said ok, he is gonna go get the car ready, so we scheduled a time for pick up, however, I was there late and A.F. needed to do something, so the other salesman, Steve, helped me when I arrived.
However, the price Steve gave me was the online price and I told him that I had a deal with A.F. by email.
So he called A.F. but A.F. refused to admit we had a deal for "out the door price", he insisted that the price was for the base price.
Therefore Steve went to talk with a manager.
After a while, the manager came and said he feels sorry but he won't give me the car with the out the door price even this was caused by, according to what he said, miscommunication between me and A.F., which happens sometimes.
I even showed the email but the manager insisted that he won't sell the car at that price.
Then I told him that even the base price which A.F. said we had a deal, was not the right number. It was still the online price.
So the manager, finally, is willing to see what he can do and give me a new base price which is just a little lower the out the door price we were talking about and told me that is the best he can do.
If an email from a salesman doesn't mean anything and his supervisor won't take the responsibility for the mistake his salesman made.
What kind of customer service should we expect?
They just want you to be there and let you take the deal even though they knew you drove two hours to pick up the car.
I went yesterday to see three cars. All of them were in mint condition. DAVID DIAZ help me out finding the best deal for me. Nice work!! I trade mine and drove back home with a nice MINI. Also, the food service is great while you wait to finish your paper work. Excellent!!
My service rep, Michael Abner is the best. He is proactive, informed and keeps me up on all the latest updates on my 428 car. He is responsive to calls, and updates me during my service calls.
He has never let me down on any issues. I am very happy with every occasion that I have had with Mike!
The real relationship between a customer and a car dealer shines after the sale. At Fields BMW of Winter park the service department is exceptional and very friendly. My service contact is Mr. Mat Stephens who is the best example of such relationship. Mat takes care of my 2010 Z4 as if it is his own vehicle, his recommendations are geared toward the best look and best performance. His knowledge and people skills exceed the expectations. When I visit the dealer I feel very comfortable and every one is willing to offer help. Thanks
Very good experience!! We were researching the X3 and have decided, due to our experience, that it will be our choice. Hugh was our sales person and could not have been more helpful and courteous to us. He was very knowledgeable and just seemed to want us to have a great experience with Fields, and we did thus far. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Hugh did not pressure us in any way and we felt he was interested in us being happy about choosing Fields, and we were!
Where do I even begin? I came here on Memorial Day (this past Monday). I had a great experience from start to finish and was quite impressed considering it was a holiday and they were closing earlier than usual. What they did not know is I literally walked out of Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando prior to coming here.
The receptionist was very friendly and I specifically asked her not to assigned me to a salesman who is super pushy. I am a top sell and I do my homework prior to coming into these dealerships there is no way I can be hustled as a woman or a consumer. She paired me with my salesman, Patrick Carney, who I knew was cool right away. Please be sure to ask for him- you'll be happy you did. I told Patrick exactly what I wanted and he started showing me the exact car as I wanted in the specific colors I asked for. There was no pressure to steer me away to other cars I wasn't interested in. No pressure to spend more than what I told him were my limits.
There was a specific car that I liked but was not thrilled with the interior. Patrick literally walked all over the lot to find an equivalent car with the exact interior that I wanted. Keep in mind it was like 95° that day. We ended up finding something and agreeing on a price that worked for me. He even threw a special request in that I asked for at no charge. I will not say what that is because then everyone will ask for the same thing for free. LOL. The car was not going to be ready that day but it was delivered to my office when promised this week. The communication was consistent, the finance manager was awesome and it was nice to actually deal with a woman for that piece of the deal.
Like I said, I am a tough sell and cannot be persuaded into things I do not want. The experience from start to finish was excellent and I highly recommend coming here. They have a beautiful selection and the customer service is ridiculously perfect. Thanks, Patrick!
Great job! Very happy and kudos to Matt R. and Josh. Job was completed in the time frame as promised and they worked in the job on a Sat, during a holiday weekend. Because I frequently work out of town for long durations, this exemplary coordination by the service scheduling team and the service writers mentioned above, proved invaluable. Thank you!
In my opinion, folks are better off buying a Kia or Hyundai. You will receive the same level of customer service for half the price, and better warranty coverage. I can't clean my interior door pulls, because the material will literally crumble off. The BMW bumper to bumper warranty, apparently does not cover this known faulty material (check the forums), that deteriorates. The deteriorating material is on the passenger side pull handle, and is definitely not "normal" wear and tear. But beware, you will be told the damage is not due to the material, but caused by rings, oils in the hands, and nails when pulling the door shut- "outside influences". Essentially, you as the customer are at fault for a cheap material design flaw. Their only offer is to "patch/refurbish" the material, not to replace the part, which is a temporary solution to a permanent problem. It's very upsetting that my garage kept, 2014, 3 series, with only 27,800 miles (purchased brand new from Fields) is only good enough for a "patch" or, as they put it "refurbish", not a replacement part.
Review Update 05/24/17: Per the service manager, BMW has declined the warranty claim, and views this issue as a customer pay situation. However, Fields as a "one-time goodwill gesture" will refurbish the material.
Unfortunately, after how I was treated by another member of the service team, I'm not sure I trust Fields any longer, and I have most definitely lost faith and trust in BMW as a product. It really says a lot when a manufacturer doesn't back their products. It also says a lot about the quality of products they are putting out on the market when they are falling a part at 3 years of age.
My experience at Fields BMW Winter Park was truly amazing !! Excellent customer service !! They acknowledged all of my concerns and finally repaired them properly!! I cannot say this about Fields BMW South Orlando very very bad, unfortunately. So many bad experiences at the South Orlando location that I never wanted to own a BMW again. But after this visit to the Winter Park location I will buy another BMW and it will be from the Winter Park branch. Great people at BMW Winter Park who know exactly what customer service is. Thank you very much. Lastly, I would like to thank Shaun DeBose who took all the right steps to make sure that I was taken care of. Thank you very much!
