  Great place to stay in Rotorua, and you can take your dog along too. Had a lovely paddle down the river on the kayaks.

  A nice lodge, maybe the rooms are a little bit to small, but they are clean and complete. There is a nice owner, he takes time for a talk. You can use their boot for free.

  Absolutely appalling! The owners are rude, racist and aggressive! The kitchen doesn't work and the site looks like it was run down 40 years ago. The toilets and showers are also disgusting.
  
  I saw the owners shouting at one guest before I had a run in with them myself. I was then followed around by the owner who threatened to call the police on us. This is the only time I have left a site after paying for it without completing a stay. I would strongly recommend giving this site a miss.

  AVOID! This is the worst of 10+ campsites we stayed in whilst travelling around New Zealand. It's one of the few places I've ever stayed in I'd recommend avoiding. The owners are aggressive and rude and threaten their guests. There are loads of reviews on TripAdvisor that say they had the same experience.
  
  The facilities are dirty and mostly not working. There is drinking water side by side with sewage. The kitchen facilities largely don't work. The toilets are dirty and smell of sewage. The 'swimming pool' is a paddling pool. The site is one of he most depressing places I've ever seen.
  
  Genuinely AVOID this site it will be a blot on your holiday you won't forget it. NZ has so many good alternative campsites including many free ones.

  This place is deserving of all its glowing reviews. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to assist you. The facilities are clean and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come again!

  Awesome place to stay with walking access to waterways. Only complaint is that fan in the room was broken but we didn't bother to let staff know, either.

  Great campsite! Full kitchen with pots, utensils, etc was nice. Everything was clean. Kayaking on the stream was delightful! Definitely recommend.

  What does this place NOT have?! Free kayaks to use, free bicycles to use, little row boat as well. Right on a lovely stream that leads to the lake. Wifi, kitchen, hot showers powered by solar energy, very cleaned well maintained campground. No complaints!
