Rooms have a toilet/shower included, and the beds are pretty comfortable with each one having its own reading light. There's no elevator/lift, and the bar next door can get pretty loud at night, but ear plugs drown the sound out well enough. It's a decent hostel.

There are no common areas which makes it difficult to meet other backpackers. There is no alcohol allowed on the property because they own the bar next door and want you to spend all of your money in there. Rooms and toilets are pretty clean but they are the only good points really. If you are looking to socialize and have fun then dont bother staying here.

The best feature are the location, the pool and the staff. The rooms are clean and the beds are fine, but the kitchen is small and looks old and dirty. The hostel itself looks like an old place, and the common spacer are not big enough. It is fine for a night stay.

good room, affordable, great pool, friendly staff. only down side was that the free wifi went off at 7pm and we were out during the day so we got very little use of it (not a major issue) and, just a warning, the noise from the lava bar next door will keep you up all night unless you are there yourself. overall, a good stay though

Stayed there for 2 nights and really appreciated the room. We were in a dorm, but our dorm had one double bed among the bunk beds that we could enjoy as a couple. Added to that, the dorm had a private WC and a private bathroom with a nice shower. Both were very clean. The staff is friendly there, there is a free pool to use and a kitchen. I just regret that there is no real lounge to hang around with other backpackers. The wifi is only available downstairs and only from 7 am to 7pm !!! Otherwise, you have to pay if you want to access at other times or in your rooms Overall, the hostel is not really comfortable, except the rooms, but is well located, rather clean and just next to the Lava bar, which is popular among backpackers in the city.

Friendly staff .. we grabbed a 4 bedroom dorm room with own bathroom had own tv and balcony. had a double bed a bunk bed and single, separate toilet from bathroom very comfy totally recommend Rm25!! during the school holiday costing $405 for 5 nights booked online, free wifi and parking with entertainment when you step out side, walking distance to everything you want bakery,coffee,takeouts, etc, if you dont mind noise all hours then this place is for you, my family and i only used place to sleep but was out all day.
