Well maintained tracks. Plantings of granny bonnets are lovely.

Very enjoyable and unexpected visit here; just noticed the garden as we were cycling by. Peaceful spot, hardly any people, great place for a picnic or barbeque; barbecues provided.

Unique and Impressive garden place which used to be a family home.
Awesome scenery while you walk along different gardens.
Waiwhakaiho river flows alongside this place which adds to the charm of these gardens.
    Very well maintained.

This place is gorgeous. Early - Mid century established gardens, it was lovely walking the grounds with my family on a perfect Taranaki day. We didn't go in the main house but visited the workers cottage. Pretty cool.

Really beautiful place to visit. There is something to see no matter what time of year you visit. The only downside is the paths can be very steep. Wear sensible shoes.

In my opinion it is the most beautiful park on New Plymouth and the neighbourhood.

A beautiful location for a wedding, or just for a wander on a nice day, these gardens are very impressive. A huge variety of plants and a great feat of engineering on this steep site.
