Really enjoyed the festival of lights. Access is pretty good around most of the park. there are a few hills and gravel paths that may be a challenge for some.

Awesome place. Great at Christmas time with the lights, concerts, WOMAD, playgrounds and Brooklands Zoo. So many things to look at and do.

This is a nice place for a walk or to spend time with the kids. The grounds are well maintained and nicely kept.

This is a stunning place. If you like big trees and superb ferneries & glass houses as well as wonderful Vistas this is the place. Has magnificent flowers in different seasons.

Lush park with some amazing scenery. Great for kids. Great playground. If you go to the other side of the park you can go to a free ZOO Brooklands.

Magical park with lots to see and do. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're passing through the city. Just setting up for the WOMAD festival when I was there so quite a large area was out of bounds. Visit the tropical gardens, very beautiful.

Visited the Festival of Lights here. What a lovely park, particularly lit up at night. If you are in town when this is one (every summer), you must check it out. Free movies, free bands, free entry! What more could you ask for? Easy paths to negotiate, nice place to stretch your legs and take in some fresh air.

Loved this park, it has a something for everyone From ambling paths to a kids playground with ok toilets. Boats were not out when we went as they were not sure if it was going to rain. The light festival currently running is lovely and with a visit (even with kids) if they can go late (the lights are supposed to start at 8.30pm).

This is a real local jewel. This place is more than 100 years old and incredibly well maintained. The lagoon and the tea house are a wonderful getaway that are easily accessed via one of the many parking areas. A wonderful labeled collection of local trees. If you haven't been here, you are really missing one of the wonders of the North Island. Yes, it is that good.
