Very nice quiet hostel. Felt more like a B&B almost. All beds, no bunks (extremely comfortable). Nice extras in the rooms: wardrobes, clothes drying, decorations. Good bathrooms, a great big living room and kitchen with plenty of games and good books.
Helpful hosts, although a bit fussy (e.g. they make you take your shoes off inside, which I found a bit weird).
Overall, if you want a non-party hostel, I highly recommend it. My favourite from all the places I stayed in NZ.
