Beautiful small scale nature park. Great way to kill a few hours touring NZ. The kiwi encounter was very informative, however make note that you are not permitted to take photos or record video in the hatchery. If you are hoping to get a photo of the iconic bird live, you will not be able to. The additional cost you pay for this tour supports the program and sustainablity of the brown kiwi population.

A really lovely animal park, with an unmissable tour of the kiwi hatching centre. The information signs for each animal were much more fun and engaging than your typical animal park/zoo, which was good. We also enjoyed the (short but sweet) bird show and the log flume ride very much too. You'd be hard pushed to spend more than 3 hours here, but in that time there is plenty to keep you occupied!

Well kept park with lots of birds and fish to see. A bit expensive i tbought. But there are 2 for 1 deals about which makes it more affordable.

Great place to get close to Kiwis, Rainbow Trout and various other birds. I would give it 5 stars, but several exhibits/attractions were closed.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. As an Aucklander I am ashamed to say that this was much better than the Zoo. The animals here actually look happy and the bird show was awesome. Well worth the money.

This place offer anybody who want to visit it a fully packed of educational facts, from the floral that are native in New Zealand, the fauna included the trout, birds, tuatara, and the special kiwis that are also native.
And the horrifying facts about the almost extinct of the kiwi birds.
Don't forget to also taste the clean, pure and refreshing spring water here.

It's not a bad place,if this 9 minute ride which we didn't end up doing. Plenty to see here but they didn't have the bird show on but was told to meet at the bird show entrance and we would be taken to the eel feeding. A few people waited and waited and no one came so we all went off in our different directions! Also better check what shows are on what days,there's show only on certain days

Nice nature park on the outskirts of Rotorua. Lot of activities for kids. Good educational exhibits on kiwis. Nice water ride.

Great place to go don't like the price. Cafe coffee is nice but food not much sad they don't sell hot chips for the kids.
