The soup price in the menu was 11,5 dollars and 18 dollars on the bill! The food was good but we weren't told why was the price so high! Also the staff is pretty pushy, I understand they try to be nice but they ask too many times if everything is OK and try to sell more by all the chances
This review is based on many patrons that wait an 1hr for their food and then get told they still have to pay for a meal they didn't get. This place is a joke. You want to stay open? then you best be upping your standards!
Great selection and service! Food and coffe was great! Burrito was legit!!! Decor was amazing!
For us, the only drawback was feeling a bit intimidated by the unisex bathrooms. However there is one separate toilet for the more bashful like us 😊
Absolutely scrumptious! The best restaurant in town. We had dinner here and then came back for lunch since we knew we would have a great meal ! Gluten free friendly with so many delicious options.
Best place in town, took a group of 16 high profile PR people from London here and they were 'well impressed'.
Fantastic food and great service. Definitely coming back next time I'm on town.
Very friendly staff. I tried the seafood plate very nice worth trying and the desert yum. The outside area is great for big groups
Nice food friendly staff but was shocked wen asked to pay a $10 charge to bring our own birthday cake after we spent near $300. was never told this when booking
good value. Excellent food we did shared tapas yum great atmosphere the private rooms are cool fun staff with a great attitude with will go again and we live in Taurangax
I had a group of 8 people and every single meal was amazing - we all came back the following night as it was THE best food in Rotorua .
The staff were wonderfully friendly from the moment we walked in the door, the food was beautiful and the menu was varied enough I wanted to keep going back to try a number of dishes. The happy hour tapas make for an affordable, tasty meal, but the pork taco was the clear winner, yum. Very family friendly.
Good food, good service. Took some time for food to be served, but it was still worth it. Ordered the fajitas which was awesome! (Waitress recommended chicken, another said prawns was her favourite, so up to you). I enjoyed the abracadabra steak as well. Lovely ambience and not too expensive, so try it!
The food was incredible. Even as a vegan I could put together a delicious meal from side and tapas style dishes. Would have been 5 stars if they hadn't forgotten our coffee.

—Dessert options were plentiful.
—Coffee options were plentiful and very tasty.
—Good prices and good portions.
SERVICE
—Friendly service.
—They can order a taxi for you, if necessary, as was the case for me.
LOCATION
—In an area with lots of other restaurants and shops nearby.
OTHER
—When you go in, grab a menu and grab a seat. When you’ve decided what you want, go back to the counter to order and to pay. They’ll give you a number to put on your table where your order will be delivered. Like many restaurants and cafes in New Zealand (NZ), complimentary tap water is available by the bottle, but it is self serve. The same for Abracadabra. You’ll find the water to the right of the cashier. The glasses are on a counter and the water is below in a refrigerator.
—Very cool vibe with seating in the front, porch style, inside and in the garden. There are also other rooms off to the side for groups to meet.
