Been to many Chinese restaurant's around New Zealand and overseas. I suggest you save the money and dine somewhere else, Food was over price for the amount of portion size you get. The dishes I had was below average. Overall it won't be on my list when I visit Queenstown again.

Reasonable authentic CHINESE cooking. Dishes r offered in medium or large servings. Dishes r a bit on the Cantonese side but they do offer spicy Szechuan. I didn’t get a chance to order the spicy ones. Food is out in good time. This is located by the harbor front and they do try to seat by the windows. Clean and simple place.

I landed in Queenstown quite late at night and I chose to eat in this restaurant. It was embarrassing because I was the only customer at that time and the staff seemed to be expecting me to finish as soon as possible so that they could close the restaurant. I love Chinese food and the food served there was decent, if not the best in NZ.

This place is a joke. The food was Overpriced. Ordered the Mongolian beef at $32 & had 4 pieces of beef each between my partner and I the rest was all vegetables. Also ordered the duck, on the upside the duck was very nice. Then we went back the next night for the duck it was not very good at all! I wouldn't come back to this place as the food is not great & it's over priced.

I am a Malaysian chinese from Penang, been eating chinese food all my life. Ate at this restaurant on the 8/12/2016. At first we nearly skip this restaurant after reading some of the bad reviews. But somehow we chose to ignore it and try it out. It was the right decision. We went to many chinese restaurant in the south island, this restaurant was the only one with the best "lasting impression". If you are looking for real chinese food and not the ones that are catered to the local New Zealanders, this is the restaurant for you. My family loved this place, it felt at home as a chinese. The moment you enter, you can see the dragon and phoenix on the wall. The customers mainly consist of chinese people from all over the world, from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan and many more. I had the best Hot and Sour Soup here, just the right taste. I liked it so much that i decided to wrote a review to do some justice to the restaurant. If you are looking for a typical chinese restaurant, this restaurant can't go far wrong.

Overpriced. Different dishes using the same basic ingredients (onions, celery, carrots). One of the more Chinese restaurants we ate around New Zealand.

Agree. Don't listen to other bad posts. Just got home from having the best meal. Had a wide variety of dishes as we were in a group. All very high standard and just delicious. As fir the service. Exceptional. Waitress was so friendly and went out of her way to accommodate our requests. AAA. Definitely go again.
