  They forgot we had ordered even though the place was dead. Left us waiting an hour starring at the bad decor.

  I was expecting much more from the reviews. But it wasn't just disappointing based on overhyped place. The lamb burger wasn't good even without the big expectation. The lamb was overseasoned with thyme. So there was basically no taste of lamb. The onion rings were overfried so they were hard. It all looked nice but didn't taste very well. Much better was the soup of the day - tomato & bacon, but it would be even better with a bit more texture by adding a bit of golden crunchy bacon on top

  I wasn't sure what to expect based on some of the reviews. Should not have worried. Staff was very friendly, meals were huge and very tasty. Recommend the chocolate brownie to finish! Will def go there again was very happy

  Excellent food and beer, and accommodating staff. A lot of cyclists on the rail trail miss this as they come to other food places first - their loss! Would def come here again. Lamb burger and seafood chowder were highlights
