Excellent everything, your every need anticipated, exquisite food, surroundings, the staff were all first class
We have been to Huka Lodge twice and going back again this year. We have experienced different luxury lodges in Australia and New Zealand, no doubt Huka Lodge is the finest, the property is beautiful and all the guests are treated like royalty. Loved the amazing fine dining experience created by Frog chef and the team. It was really lovely that one of the team member Dennis Hay remembered us and gave us a very warm welcome during our second visit.
Very nice, I'd recommend visiting if you feel like a break. frenziedly staff
Quality that makes the best European lodges look like back packer hostels. Simply extraordianry
Likely the finest food and lodging of any luxury lodge we have stayed in the world. Outstanding in every single way.
park-sleep yes we stayed at Huka Lodge , a very nice experience . I was surprised when I was given a lodge some distance from the main building , I should have asked the manager for a torch . The food was absolutely as expected . Dinner and lunch were in a private room in the main building over looking the Waikato River in the finest of furnished environment .The service was very good the people were friendly but not overly so . I did have to point out to the staff who the individuals are in the paintings in the main building but I suppose that has a lot to do with my age . I did note a lot of younger people were staying 20s 30s etc .It was good to see they wanted to stay in a place that reflects well may be the 1920s '30s or '50s . park-sleep
