  disappointed room was not as it said it was on the internet and not worth the money i paid for a $160 room which was meant to have a bath and didnt we had food to heat and not even a microwave in the room or to use would never even consider staying there again

  Was not impressed, heater in room didn't work , only 2 channels worked tv1 and maori channel, the food was average had best. Ended up leaving after dinner and definatly would not stay there again, in my opinion 1 star is to much

  We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon.
  The staff were amazing and very helpful.
  Sadly the majority of the other guests were incredibly disrespectful and rude.
  Very noisy in the car park after 10 pm and before 5am till 8 when we finally gave up trying to sleep and

  Great location, easy to find. Good size room. Bed was average. Rooms have minimal security - perhaps not required in a small happy town - but we felt a little anxious in leaving the verandah door open to get fresh air. Dining room was friendly and good buffet dinner. Breakfast was great. Reasonable value for money.

  My wife and I stayed at the Heritage Gateway Hotel in Omarama.
  I was told they only had superior rooms left, which was fine.
  $165.00 ( $155.00 on the net )
  We got to our room, and noticed the wooden back door had a split in it and you could see daylight thru it.
  
  The TV only had 5 channels and one was on twice. you would think being a superior room you would at least get free view, if not sky TV.
  
  The room was clean and tidy, but the bed was a shocker.
  I didn't sleep in the double bed, it was terrible, I slept in the single bed
  
  Still, Im not too sure what superior means
  
  Then when I went to check out, A woman at reception said, No one is here at the moment, did they get my card details, which they did and she said that's all they need.
  I didn't even have a chance to say anything
  
  But, we had a meal at the restaurant that night, good service and a very nice meal.
